HUP-ZAGREB Inc. was founded in 1948, resulting from the arising need for new accommodation and catering capacities in Zagreb. Following
the long tradition of welcoming visitors and tourists, HUP-ZAGREB established itself as one of Zagreb's and Croatia's leading tourist and catering
companies. It also became an integral part of the city's life in its every segment. Always keeping the pace with the latest developments and

At Dubrovnik riviera, through Dubrovnik Riviera Hotels brand, the company has developed the most exciting tourist tale of the Croatian South. In a
small coastal place, Mlini, near Dubrovnik, the company features high class hotels Astarea and the newly built Hotel Mlini as well as Villas Mlini,
encompassing the total capacity of over 440 guest rooms and a rich and diverse offer. In Srebreno, in 2015, the company opened a new hotel,
Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera Hotel, which features, besides 250 lavishly furbished hotel rooms and a diverse leisure tourism offer, the largest hotel
congress hall in Croatia, able to accommodate over 1000 delegates. With the properties along Dubrovnik Riviera, HUP-ZAGREB Inc., encompasses

1968. 1977.
Realizing the need for expansion of
its offer to accommodation capacities
as well, in 1968 HUP-Zagreb makes
a decisive step towards creating
a more complete hotel offer with
higher quality standards: the Sport
Hotel, now the Panorama Zagreb
Hotel, is opened. In the period until
1977 HUP-Zagreb had 400 rooms
in its three Zagreb hotels, the fact
which would greatly determine the
company's future orientation.
1977. 1983.
This was a very intensive period
in the company's history. HUPZagreb was developing and
building additional capacities on
its own and it also merged with
another hotel-catering company.
This was critical for the expansion
of its accommodation and
catering offer in Zagreb since it
owned about 60 restaurants and
700 hotel rooms. This was also
the period of significant expansion
in the number of employees.

1983. 1990.
In 1984 the company starts
intensive work on improving
the quality of its services in
accordance with the new, more
modern market requirements. This
period saw the upgrades and
adaptations of the Panorama,
Jadran and Park hotels. In
cooperation with the oil company
INA, HUP-Zagreb began the
preparatory works for the
building of the new Sheraton
Zagreb Hotel. A managerial
contract was signed with the
international ITT Sheraton
Corporation for the managing of
the new hotel in accordance with
the Sheraton's international hotel
standards.
1990. 1997.
During the period of the Croatian
war for independence the lavish
Sheraton Zagreb Hotel was being
built, the construction naturally
being slowed down due to these
events and it was not finished
until 1995. The hotel was a major
new asset for the company in
regards to enhanced capacity and
higher quality of the offer. This
period also saw the successful
transformation of the former
state-owned company into the
HUP-Zagreb joint stock company
owned solely by its stockholders.
1997. 2016.
In 1997 HUP-ZAGREB Inc. bought
the Hotel International and in 2003
the Westin Zagreb Hotel. During
this period the company renovated
its three hotels: the elite hotel The
Westin Zagreb has been renovated
and HUP-ZAGREB Inc. signed the
hotel management agreement with
the international hotel corporation,
Starwood Hotels and Resorts Inc.
The two high quality hotels, the
International Hotel and the Panorama
Zagreb Hotel (led under the Starwood
brand, from 2003 until 2013, as
Four Points by Sheraton Panorama
Zagreb Hotel) also went under
complete renovation. The purchase
and additional investments in the
quality significantly increased the
company's accommodation capacities
and enriched not only the company's,
but Zagreb's and Croatia's offer as
well. In this period HUP-ZAGREB Inc.
became the majority stockholder in the
Hotels Mlini and the Hotels Srebreno
Inc. and started, in 2012, the large 80
million Euros worth investment cycle,
developing the brand - Dubrovnik
Riviera Hotels, that encompasses;
Hotel Mlini, Astarea and Villas Mlini
in Mlini and hotel Sheraton Dubrovnik
Riviera Hotel, Villas Srebreno and
Apartments Srebreno in Srebreno,
