QDx InstacheckTM Reader is a fluorescence scanning instrument to
be used in conjunction with various QDx InstacheckTM Immunoassay
Tests which are based on antigen-antibody reaction and fluorescence
technology.
Quantitative results within 3-15 minutes
Wide growing test parameters
QDx InstacheckTM Reader uses a semiconductor diode laser as the
excitation light source for illuminating the test cartridge
membrane (pre-loaded with the clinical specimen duly processed)
thereby triggering fluorescence from the fluorochrome molecules
present on the membrane.
Report is given

Main lab

The above takes approximately 2-3 days. This system is plagued with the risk of pre-test errors due to sample
storage and transportation. There is a high cost associated with sample storage, transportation and report delivery.
Point-Of-Care Diagnosis

Minimum training required
The fluorescent light is collected together with the scattered laser
light. Pure fluorescence is filtered from the mixture of the scattered
and fluoresced light. Intensity of the fluorescence is scanned and
converted into an electric signal which is proportional to the intensity
of fluorescence produced on the test cartridge membrane.
Compact & portable (only 1.3kgs)
Very convenient & foolproof sampling
The on-board microprocessor computes concentration of the analyte
in the clinical specimen based on a pre-programmed calibration.
The computed and converted result is displayed on the display screen
of the QDx InstacheckTM Reader.
Universal sampling options - whole blood, plasma & serum
Avoid erroneous results due to hassles of
sample storage and transportation
