Chapter 4
Rear fender extension for the tri-bar LED
running/brake light kit
Chapter 4 is all about lights and electric. Marker
lights, turn signals, taillights, headlights, switches,
batteries, cables and much more. Whatever light
you are looking for Zodiac has got it, whether it is
stock replacement, Classic or the latest space-age
look Custom lights. Many of our turn signal lights,
marker lights and taillights are available with the
classic bulb as well as LED style lights. LED stands
for Light Emitting Diode. The latest LED’s are superbright, while using less power than common bulbs.
LED lights also live much longer than normal bulbs.
In this Chapter you will also find our Wire-Plus
complete wiring harness for stock and custom
bikes, RBS "Xenon" headlights and the latest stock
style taillights with bright shining LED's.

LED SADDLE BAG INTERIOR
LIGHTS
It is so convenient when you open your
saddlebag at night and a light comes on and
Cyron’s LED saddlebag lights make it
happen. The units mount with 2 sided tape
or Velcro. The LED heads go in the bag, the
magnet controlled switches mount on the
top of the bag and you are done. Units
feature 2 bright shining LED’s each, hand
controlled On/Off switches, magnetic
operated switches and include 3 each of
commonly available AG13 button cell
batteries. Units measure 1” x 2” x 5/8”
(25 mm x 50 mm x 17 mm).When you open
the bag the light goes on, when you close
the bag the light goes off.Also great for tool
chests, hatches, drawers, cabinets and

REMOTE CONTROL UNIT
This remote control unit is exactly the same
one as included in Cyron’s “Gold” and
“Platinum” kits. It allows you to turn your
lighting system on or off from up to 100 feet
(30 meters) away! This is that final touch to
make your LED lighting system 100%
complete and custom. The remote will
replace the on-off switch and making the
system totally invisible and tamper proof.
3 Amp relay contact rating. Not limited for

CYRON’S NUGGET4 LED ACCENT
LIGHTS
Four super bright LED’s in a small oval
shaped “pod” style. Approximately half the
size of “the other” product that is widely
sold but has a just as bright light. Made with
wide angle LED’s which light up a larger

LIGHTS
The Convex5 features 5 wide-angle super
bright LED’s in a smooth convex shaped
housing, making it the brightest and widest
angle “step” light available. Due to their
wide angle light, the Convex5 will project

LED's in the Convex-6 spread out 120 degrees
of continuous light in every planar direction.
Versatility in mounting allowing it to be

KELLERMANN MICRO 1000DF TURN/TAIL LIGHTS
This innovative combination of turn signals with integrated taillight
function is now united in the Micro 1000 housing.The Micro 1000 DF
is the result of constant optimizations & further developments of the
Kellermann Micro 1000 LED series. Due to the integration of the
taillight functions in the turn signals you do not need a taillight in the
center of the bike anymore. This will give your bike a totally new
appearance. The Micro 1000 DF in the beautiful steel housing of the
Micro1000 replaces turn signals and the taillight and now allows
you to try out something completely new when customizing your
bike. Depending on your model it may be required to use an electronic
turn signal flasher unit such as the ZPN 237304 or a Load Equalizer
module like the ZPN 238380 in order to retain the original flashing
sequence of the turn signals and control lights. Micro 1000 DF / turn
signal/taillight combinations are EU-approved for the rear, no need
for TÜV-approval, replaces the brake light, running light and turn
signals. They feature Kellermann's High Power LED-Technology with
a current draw of only 1 Watt for taillight and 1 Watt for brake light.
These LED's are built into a high quality steel housing. Unit measures
approx. 72 mm length (w/o thread), 18 mm height and 17 mm depth,

These LED conversion "bulbs" simply
replace the bulb, and that is it! No
electronics to install as everything needed

BADLANDS LOAD EQUALIZER
When installing aftermarket marker lights
as replacement for the stock turn signals on
Harley-Davidson which have a self canceling
system, the Load Equalizer must be used. It
will return amperage draw to correct factory
specification, as the self canceling Brain Box
must have the correct draw in order to
function properly. Both the Load Equalizer I
and II perform this function, while the Load
Equalizer II has the added feature of
allowing you to retain emergency flasher
capability. It has a built-in thermostat which
retains the resistors heat while your bike is
functioning in the emergency flasher mode.
Note: The load equalizer I and II units are
not designed to be used in parades or with
the bike running for an extended period of

THE ZODIAC BRAIN BOX "LITE"
The ultimate solution for “Burned-Out” mini
switches. More and more Custom builders
are using the “Petit” or “Mini” handlebar
switches to operate lights etc. These mini
switches can’t handle the current flow if
used in the same way as the stock switches.
The contact area of the mini switches is
simply too small and they will burnout. This
electronic box will eliminate all problems
related to too many Amps flowing through
too little switches. It has 4 electronic relays
build in that can be activated with a
minimum of current flow.This will eliminate
all problems related with burning handlebar
switches. The thin electric wires needed to
connect this relay unit to the handlebar
controls can easily be routed inside the
handlebar. The Mini-Relays box now has a
build-in self-canceling turn signal relay and
measures only 3” long, 2” wide and 1” high,
so can be fitted easily under a tank or side
cover. Comprehensive instructions for ease
of installation are included.

are made of thick aluminum sheet to ensure
they remain rigid after the grooves are
milled. The lamp is slightly recessed for a
hooded appearance and is held in position
using a threaded ring, so there are no
exposed rivets or bolts. Also the Billet
aluminum mounting bracket is attached to
the housing, so a very clean look is achieved.
The standard bracket position fits 1980 thru
1986 FXWG and 1984 to present FXST
models with the 3/4” wide mounting block

RBS XENON ALUMINUM
HEADLIGHTS
The Bi-Xenon light technology is normally
only found on the "hi-end" and expensive
cars. RBS now makes very small size billet
aluminum Bi-Xenon headlight kits offer
maximum light exploitation. It is impossible
to explain the difference between an
“ordinary” light and this state of the art
system in print, but you will admit that
Xenon is the brightest light you have ever
seen as soon as you switch it on. RBS BiXenon headlights are available with a
polished or black anodized finish.
Installation of these headlights does not
require any modifications of your bikes
electrical system. Headlights come complete
with lamp unit, Bi-Xenon light and Xenon

MINI PUSH BUTTON SWITCH
This tiny little stainless steel push button
switch comes with a special radius shaped
spacer to allow mounting in handlebars.
Switch works for turn signal. Starter, horn,
kill or hi-low, must be used with a switch
relay. Requires a 9/32” hole and 5/16” UNF
nut. Switch is less than 1/2” in diameter and
sticks only 1/4” above the handlebar
surface. Of course you can also install this
switch on flat surfaces when you do not use
the radius shaped spacer. Installation
requires a 9/32" drill and a 5/16-24 UNF
tap. Switch comes with two 20” wires
installed.

We would like to give some advice to those that want to make a wiring
harness for their Custom build bike or are doing electric wiring repairs.
From experience we know that using cheap products is the wrong way.
Don’t cut corners when fixing electrical wiring on your expensive
motorcycle. If you do, you may end up at the side of the road with all
kinds of electrical failure.We have seen Burned-out alternators because
of poor wiring and cheap connectors. Blown-up batteries and burned
starter motors because of cheap wiring and poor quality eyelets etc.

DEUTSCH CONNECTOR SYSTEM
The greatest invention since electric cables! Ideal for custom wiring
or as replacement on OEM wiring harnesses. Best proof of the quality
from these connectors is that many OEM manufacturers including

ZODIAC'S ECONOMY BATTERIES
Very economically priced batteries. There may be lower priced
alternatives, but for sure they won't be produced to the same high
quality standards as Zodiac's Economy batteries. Most models are
available in Conventional, Maintenance Free, High Output and Factory
Sealed versions.
Conventional
Conventional lead/acid batteries are supplied dry charged and include
an easy to use non-spill acid pack that fills every cell with exactly the
required acid volume. When the fluid level lowers in use you have to
top the cells to the indicated maximum level with distilled water.
Maintenance Free
These are conventional lead acid batteries, just like the Conventional,
but have an improved vent system that reduces the evaporation of
water so drastically that, except when there is something really wrong
with your charging system, it is hardly ever necessary to add distilled
water.
High Output
These batteries feature special plates and separators that fully absorb
the supplied high gravity acid from the acid pack.The high gravity acid,
the special plates and separators also increase the Cold Cranking
Amperage, which makes them great for use in bikes with Big Inch or
High Compression motors.
Factory Sealed
Top of the bill batteries that come filled from the factory and are built
to perform.They feature Absorbed Glass Mat technology. Maintenancefree sealed batteries are designed to resists vibration damage, a very
low self-discharge rate and provide higher Cold Cranking Amps than
Conventional wet type batteries.

V-Force Maintenance Free batteries are high-output batteries and
are holding voltage better than regular lead-acid batteries. The 200,

This battery wrap gives you the ultimate
protection against leaking battery fluid.The
black felt material is treated with a
proprietary material that neutralizes acid. It
is also a big help for you custom builders

Bad battery or starter motor cables cause
usually starting problems. There can be a
tremendous Voltage drop due to a bad
cable, a bad connection of the cable to the
eyelet or in the connection of the eyelet and
the user.Therefore battery cables should be
regularly checked and if needed renewed.
These battery cable kits allow you to make
a low resistance, high quality cable at any
length. These kits are ideal for Custom Bike
builders and anyone else who wants to use
a different model battery or wants to
relocate the battery carrier. Kits are available
in classic copper cable with high insulating
black covering as well as in super flexible
easy-to-bend silicone jacket cable.The easyto-bend cable has 4 gauge leads, build from
very thin strands. Because of the large
number of these very thin strands there is
less air between the individual strands,
which means that there is more pure copper
to conduct the power from your battery.
Easy-to-bend cables are available in your
choice of translucent black or trans-lucent
red. Our convenient shop kits contain
5 meter of battery cable and a unbreakable
plastic box with 10 eyelets with 1/4” eyes,
10 eyelets with 5/16” eyes and 10 black
shrink sockets to give the finishing touch to
your Custom build cables.The battery cables
are separately available in 5 meter length.
The easy-to-bend translucent cable comes
also in 30 meters. Eyelets and shrink-socket
