CREALDE INFORMATION
Crealdé School of Art is a community-based nonprofit arts organization established in
1975. It features a year-round curriculum of over 100 visual arts classes for students
of all ages, two galleries, the Contemporary Sculpture Garden and award-winning
outreach programs. Crealdé’s second campus, the Hannibal Square Heritage Center,
opened in 2007 in partnership with the City of Winter Park, is a unique cultural
facility that celebrates community heritage through documentary photography, oral
history and public art. Through the award-winning Heritage Collection, the center
pays tribute to contributions of Winter Park’s historic African-American community.
Entry Deadline: May 1, 2015
Crealdé School of Art is currently seeking submissions from Central Florida quilters
to be included as a local component to an upcoming international exhibition The Sum
of Many Parts. Crealdé will be one of the first domestic hosts for this internationally
traveled exhibition, which recently toured five major cities in China. The two-venue
exhibition will take place in the Jenkins Gallery on the main campus and at the
Hannibal Square Heritage Center from September 11 to January 19, 2016. Eight to
