The mission of the Lakewood Pop Warner
Challenger Division is to bring the football
and cheer experience to those special
needs individuals.
Our overall goals are to enable young people
to benefit from participation in team sports
in a safe and structured environment. The
Challenger program is non-competitive and
the games are modeled after NON-CONTACT
Pop Warner flag games.

Our Challenger program
is always looking for coaches and volunteers
for both football & cheer. Please appply!
WHAT IS THE CHALLENGER DIVISION?
* For children ages 5-15 who are currently
enrolled in school with physical or mental
disabilities. (Participate older than 15yr with approval)
* Participants can have a buddy on the field
for assistance (13yrs or older).
* No Score is kept.
* Cheer exhibitions & Cheer Uniform Incl.
* All games played on Saturdays & equal
amount of playing time.
* Coaches on the field during game play.
Cheerleaders assisted on sidelines.
* Jersey, Spirit Pack, Trophy, Yearbook and
Picture Package Included.
