Solar Star Brief Overview
Introducing SOLATUBE Australia's product.
Price is based on a standard installation on roof types Corrugated & Tile.
Prices are subject to change and must be confirmed prior to installation.
All products are installed by our Certified Installation Consultants. Look for this logo to find a professional.
Solar Star Roof Ventilation Units
o
Temperatures inside a roof space with inadequate ventilation can reach as high as 72 C. Heat trapped in the roof
space then radiates into the living space below causing air conditioning units to work even harder.
 Whisper quiet solar powered operation – uses no electricity and pays for itself
 High impact resistant solar panel provides protection from hail, wind and foreign object damage
 Decreases cooling costs by reducing heat build-up, moisture & condensation – helps prevent mould & mildew
 Flow Rates: RM1200 1080m | RM1600 1800m [please see performance statement for more info]

Thermostat
The Solar Star Thermal Switch is preset to 18°C and 29°C. This switch turns the unit off when the temp is below 18°C and
turning the unit on when the temp reaches 29°C.
Eave/Intake Vents:
Natural air flow is required for the Solar Star to work. See image below. There are 3 ways to have intake vents: eave, roof
[VS2002] and internal ceiling vents. The recommended number can reduce depending on existing intake of natural air flow to
ceiling cavity. A combination of vents can be used.
 ASBESTOS: we do not install venting in eaves where asbestos is present.
 VS2002: Product used when no eaves present or asbestos is present in eaves.
Closable Internal Ceiling Vents:
Ventilation for internal rooms for use with the solar star. Installation of any number of these can also allow the Solar Star to draw
the hot air out of your living area as well.

Runs on autopilot with optional Occupancy Sensor

Occupancy Sensor allows the system to activate only
when an underlit area is occupied. It switches on
