It’s a win-win!” Camp Orinda Ages 5 to 12 years ~Longtime YWCA Member Honiss Elementary School 31 Depew Street, Dumont NJ 07628 Campers enjoy American Red Cross Swim Lessons, off-site trips and special events including our Camp Olympics, Camp Carnival and Talent Show. Camp Activities Hours: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm Each action-packed week at our summer camps offer exciting activities to keep kids moving, creative and engaged. Choose from locations in Dumont or our lake side camp in Darlington County Park in Mahwah. No two days are alike! Activities include arts and crafts, game time, outdoor team sports and nature lessons. Campers also participate in American Red Cross Swim Lessons taught by our certified staff and special events including the Camp Carnival, Talent Show and Camp Olympics. Campers must bring lunch and drinks; snacks are provided. $300/week • Additional Child: $275 YWCA Membership: $50 per child • Registration: $45 per application Session Dates: Week 1: June 27 - July 1 Week 2: July 5 - July 8 (Closed July 4) Week 3: July 11 - July 15 Week 4: July 18 - July 22 Week 5: July 25 - July 29 Week 6: August 1 - August 5 Pre & Post Camp held at on site Week 7: August 8 - August 12 Pre Camp: 7:30 - 8:30 am • $50/week Post Camp: 5:00 - 6:30 pm • $55/week Week 8: August 15 - August 19 Week 9: August 22 - August 26 Camp Ma-Kee-Ya Ages 5 to 12 years Arts & Crafts Darlington County Park - Upper Lake 600 Darlington Avenue, Mahwah NJ 07430 Camp Ma-Kee-Ya features spacious lawns, wooded picnic areas, an open air pavilion and a variety of outdoor activities, such as relay games and archery. Kids also take part in water-based activities on the lake, including paddle boating, kayaking, canoeing, and American Red Cross Swim Lessons. Outdoor Activities TGA Golf $360/week • Additional Child: $335 YWCA Membership: $50 per child • Registration: $45 per application TGA Premier Junior Golf & Tennis Programs Golf Tennis Orinda Week 5 Week 6 Ma-Kee-Ya Week 4 Week 3 Golf and Tennis lessons are held 2 hours a day, 5 days a week, for a weekly fee of $200 per program. Pre & Post Camp held at YWCA, 112 Oak Street, Ridgewood Swim Time Pre Camp: 7:30 - 8:30 am • $50/week Post Camp: 5:00 - 6:30 pm • $55/week Camp Theme Weeks Limited scholarships available. Call 201-444-5600 ext. 352 for details. Counselor-in-Training Program Week 1: Welcome to Camp First timers and seasoned campers make friends, meet counselors and have a great time! Ages 13 to 16 Week 2: Party in the USA Red, white and blue will be center stage for as we celebrate America’s birthday all week! The CIT Program gives participants the opportunity to work under qualified counselors to begin to learn and understand the responsibilities and demands of a counselor’s job. It is designed for those who are interested in learning about leadership, teamwork and working with elementary school children. CIT’s receive community service credits for all hours worked. Week 3: To Infinity and Beyond! Campers explore space and the universe, bringing their imaginations to life! Enrollment is limited - sign up today! CIT Program Check out all the great things happening this summer! $185/week • YWCA Membership: $50 per child • Registration: $45 per application Applications are available at www.ywcabergencounty.org Week 4: Superheroes Get your capes ready - campers become their own superheroes! “Camp Orinda is in a perfect location for those of us that commute into NYC, and the pre and post camp options really make a big difference!” Week 5: Wild and Wacky World of Camp From crazy hat day to mismatch day, campers explore their wild side! ~Happy Camp Parent Week 6: Zootopia During this fun-filled animal themed week, campers learn about animals and their habitats. Week 7: Olympics Children experience Olympic themed events and take part in the YWCA 2016 Summer Olympics Opening and Closing Ceremonies. Week 8: YWCA’s Got Talent Campers take center stage and show off their talents, from singing to dancing and everything in between! Week 9: So Long Sweet Summer Carnival During carnival week, campers enjoy popcorn, snow-cones, cotton candy, and carnival games. Have some fun, fun, FUN in summer SUN!
