Generates a high voltage electrostatic zone, to absorb and eliminate dust, smoke and pollen particles. 9 10 Super Ionizer & Ionizer Releases negative ions, eliminate odours, dust, smoke and pollen particles to give you fresh and healthy air. 2 Features Reliability Heating Belt (Outdoor) Self-Diagnosis Function Valve Protection Cover (Optional on certain models) If abnormal operations or part failures, are detected, the microcomputer of the unit will automatically switch off to protect the system. The error or protection code will be displayed on the indoor unit. This cover protects the valves during transportation. It also prevents the condensed water on the valve from dripping. With a PTC heating belt fitted onto the base plate of the outdoor unit, accumlated rain, snow or defrosted water is avoided. Anti-Rust Cabinet The cabinet is treated to eliminate rust. Powerful Dehumidification Automatically adjusts humidity to a suitable level when in operation. Low Ambient Cooling If the unit has a Low Ambient Kit installed it can operate in temperatures as low as -15ºC for cooling. Refrigerant Leakage Detection When the outdoor unit detects a refrigerant leak, the indoor unit will alarm. Two Speed Outdoor Fan Motor Gold Fin With a two speed outdoor fan motor, the temperature ranges of the outdoor unit are increased in both heating and cooling operations. The Gold hydrophilic condenser improves heating efficiency by accelerating the defrosting process. The unique anticorrosive golden coating on the condenser can withstand salty air, rain and other corrosive elements. Bluefin Coils (Optional on certain models) Bluefin Coils are offered on all outdoors. Health Silver Ion Filter Bio Filter Negative Ion Filter Fresh Air Silver Ions kill bacteria and prevent their activity. The Bio Filter consists of a specialised biological enzymes and an Eco Filter. The Eco Filter catches very small airborne dust particles and neurilities bacteria, fungi and microbes. Biological enzymes kill bacteria by dissolving their cell walls thus eliminating the problem of re-pollution. Releases negative ions which purifies air, sterilises bacteria and reduces tiredness. Fresh air intake makes air quality healthier and more comfortable. Plasma Dust Collector Self-Cleaning The Plasma Dust Collector generates a high voltage electrostatic field. The air passing through this zone is converted to plasma, and 95% of the dust, smoke and pollen particles are attracted to the electrostatic filter. When this function is activated, the indoor unit operates in fan-only mode with a low fan speed. During this period the condensed water will remove the dust on the evaporator fins. The unit then turns to heating mode with a low fan speed which dries the inside of indoor unit. Finally it turns to fan-only mode and blows away the wet air. The whole process cleans the inside of indoor unit preventing the breeding of bacteria. Cold Catalyst Filter Eliminates formaldehyde and other volatile organic compounds (VOCs) as well as harmful gasses and odours. Vitamin C Filter (Optional on certain models) The Vitamin C filter fills the air with vitamin C, which softens the skin and reduces stress. Multi-Bend Evaporator Sleep Mode Intelligent Eye Detector lW Standby Within the confined space of the indoor unit, the multi-bend evaporator helps increase the heat exchange surface for improved efficiency. Sleep Mode automatically increases (cooling) or decreases (heating) at 1°C per hour for the first two hours, then holds steady for the next 5 hours, after that it will switch off. This characteristic is energy saving and increases comfort during operation at night. (Optional on certain models) Intelligent on-off technology enables Airco products to automatically enter energysaving mode when on standby, cutting energy consumption from 4-5W to 1W which accounts to a 5O% saving on the indoor operation. Energy Saving With the built-in infrared sensor, the indoor unit detects human movement. The unit will turn off 30 minutes after you have left the room and automatically switch on when you return, helping save energy. 3 Features Super Silent Airflow Multi Indoor Fan Speeds With up to 12 indoor fan speeds, a more comfortable air flow is possible. 0.5W Standby Technology controls the airflow volume and capacity output and together with the large diameter cross-flow fan the noise level of the indoor unit is lowered. Short-cut function Intelligent on-off technology enables Airco products to automatically enter energysaving mode when on standby. Cutting energy consumption from 5W to 0.5W which amounts to a 90% saving. Preset all functions (like temperature, operation mode, fan speed and other). Every time you press the “SHORT CUT” button, the unit will run under the mode that you recorded. You don’t need to reset the parameters after they are adjusted by other users. Horizontal & Vertical Auto Swing Low Noise Airflow System The design of the large louvres, with a wide swing angle range, guides the cool or warm air to every corner of the room. Without decreasing airflow and capacity, a large diameter cross flow fan can bring down the indoor unit noise level by reducing the fan speed. Because the density of cold and warm air varies, in cooling mode the indoor unit blows out horizontally and in heating mode it blows out vertically. This technology makes the room temperature more consistent and comfortable during the operation. Temperature Compensation Condensate Disposal Comfort 8°C Heating In heating operation, the pre-set temperature of the air conditioner can be as low as 8ºC, which keeps the room temperature steady at 8ºC for in winter. Follow Me (Optional on certain models) A temperature sensor is built into the remote control. When you are close to the remote control, the unit will automatically change the setting on the unit to ensure comfortable temperature just like the air conditioner is following you. Anti-Cold-Air (Heat Pump Only) On starting up the unit, the fan speed is regulated automatically from the lowest setting to the preset level, according to the temperature in the evaporator. This function prevents cold air blowing out at the beginning of the operation, avoiding discomfort. 4 Independent Dehumidification The individual dehumidification mode dehumidifies the room efficiently, but does not lower the temperature as significantly as cooling operation. Turbo Operation This function maximises the heating or cooling output, resulting in a rapid response to temperature change. Different installation heights effects the temperature picked up by the sensor (on the floor). The installer can change the jumping wire combination on the indoor PCB to compensate for this deviation. Multi Indoor Fan Speeds With up to 12 indoor fan speeds, more variation in airflow is possible. Two-Direction Airflow Slinger-ring condensate disposal, enhancing cooling performance. PTC Heater (Optional on certain models) With a built-in PTC device, the heating operation is more powerful even in extreme cold. 360º Air Flow Panel Auto Swing The 360° air outlet makes equal, fast and wide-range cooling possible.
