Kids and their parents will have fun while learning
to skate! The first five weeks will be instructional
and the sixth week students will have a fun time
skating with a chance to show their family and
friends what they’ve learned. Students can use
in-line or roller skates.
Program will introduce basic soccer skills in a
fun-filled environment for boys and girls ages
3 – 5 years. Instructors will focus on footwork,
dribbling, passing and team work. Dennis Weyn

Children will perform hip hop moves to upbeat
“kid friendly” music and enjoy games and activities
while learning beginner through intermediate
level tumbling skills. This class promotes the

balance and spatial awareness. Each session will
end with a performance for family and friends.
This class is designed for the tiny ballerina and
her parent or caregiver. The class is full of fun
songs and will give your little princess exposure
to ballet without the structure of Princess Ballet.
Come enjoy the class in your favorite ballet outfit.
Put on your tap shoes as little dancers will enjoy
this fun rhythmic dancing class. Children delight
in tapping and twirling to fun upbeat music. Fun

Grow your child’s creativity in this hands-on
arts and crafts program! Children will explore,
discover and flourish while experimenting with
varieties of art techniques and media. You’ll

with weekly themes that may include Dinosaurs,
Flower Power and Time for Ice Cream. An adult
may bring more than one child, but a separate
registration form is required for each child. A $5
material fee to cover entire session is payable to
instructor at first class.
A movement potpourri! Both you and your child
will enjoy costumes, props, hula hoops, balls
and even a parachute. Sense of balance, timing
and spatial awareness will be developed through
music, puppet shows, imaginative play and large
muscle activities. Look forward to a different

or Miss World? A pageant is a competition that
has traditionally focused on judging personality,
intelligence and talent. All ages compete to win

Prep classes are for NATURAL style pageant

Whether you’re a beginner or have taken classes
before, this class is perfect for girls 6 years of age
or older! This class will emphasize basic body
positions required for gymnastics elements. It
will also focus on building strength and flexibility.
The students will get the opportunity to use all of
the gymnastics equipment including vault, bars,
beam and floor.
This class emphasizes body positions and
individual competency in all gymnastic areas
including: vault, pommel horse, bars and floor.
Strength and flexibility are incorporated into all

Instructed by Progress with Chess, Ohio’s largest
chess teaching organization. Everyone welcome,
from beginner to expert! Campers in grades
K-8 will be placed in small groups according to
age and skill level. Sessions include a mixture
of interactive lessons and supervised open play.
There will be a short recess in the morning
and afternoon with opportunities for physical
activity. Chess sets, clocks and written curriculum
provided. If attending full day, please pack a
brown bag lunch and drink daily.
Fantastic Foundation includes students who
already know the basic rules but have little or no
tournament experience. Students will learn tactics,
strategies and checkmate patterns, how to record
moves and use a chess clock. Classmates will play
training games under tournament conditions and
receive the necessary skills to enter competitive
play with confidence.

Fencing is the oldest western martial art. Its fast,
furious and fun. Its also an easy and safe fighting
sport to learn. Get ready to sweat as this fun but
strenuous sport is for all physical types. Prepare
to unleash your inner-Jedi or Zorro! $20 rental fee
payable to instructor includes all equipment. It
is strongly recommended that each student also
purchase his or her own fencing gloves.
Indoor riding center provides you with classes
all year round. Using English Hunt Seat, learn to
walk and trot, plus basic horsemanship control.
Must wear boots or shoes with a heel and hunt
caps. Caps are provided for all beginners.
Come and learn to skate like the pros. Course
includes five lessons and the sixth class allows
students a chance to show family and friends what
they've learned in a fun-time skate. Parents must
transport child to and from the rink. Note: If you
bring your own outdoor skates, they must be clean
and in good condition. Students can use in-line or
roller skates.

This will be a co-ed league designed specifically
for children ages 5 – 6 to be introduced to the
game of baseball. This program develops motor
skills, such as hitting, throwing and fielding. T-ball
is a form of baseball where there is no pitching.
The batter simply hits the ball off a batting “T”.
Children are placed on teams in a relaxed and
recreational atmosphere, where no score is kept
and everyone bats the same amount of times. Each
child will play one game a week. Games played
on either Mondays or Wednesdays depending on
enrollment.

Boys will experience their first pitched ball as
coaches pitch. Program is designed to enhance

Program is kid pitch for ages 9 – 10. Gives
players the opportunity to learn and improve on
the fundamentals of baseball including: pitching,

This dinner time staple is more popular than
ever. In class you’ll learn how to make a
fabulous pasta from scratch. Among pastas
we’ll try are carrot, broccoli, sesame, whole
wheat, sour cream and many more. There
will be some hands-on pasta rolling and some
recipes for using store bought pasta, too. There
will also be recipes to take home. $8 food fee is

When the weather is cold outside the idea of
salad might not be the first idea that pops into
your mind. Winter salads can be a way to beat
those wintertime blues. Full of greens, citrus
