Mull Prep - Convert haunched mulls to accommodate Inswing Mull Boot
Cut haunched mull to overall distance of 1-5/8" from bottom of sill to create
square cut mull bottom.

A = Height of cut from bottom of haunched mull or back-to-back jamb.
Attach Inswing Mull Boot to Mull

Apply caulk in
caulk groove
Additional
caulking
locations
First caulk top of Mull Boot
in caulk groove as shown.
Completely fill sill
attachment holes and the
high dam kerf with caulk.
NOTE: If sill is not
pre-drilled, drill
through sill using
mull boot sill
attachment holes as
a drilling template
Finishing Instructions:
Ensure surface to be finished is clean and free of
debris, dirt or oils. Use recommended primer.
The following finishes are recommended:
Exterior latex paint, acrylic latex stain or oil alkyd paint.
Attach Mull Boot to square cut mull bottom
through mull attachment holes using 1-5/8" screw.
Wipe off excess caulk if needed.
Attach prepared mull with Mull Boot to sill through
sill attachment holes using 3" screws.
