will ensure that your pack holds up optimally.

The suspension on the

Road™ Chassis provides

style carry. A deluxe
adjustable/removable
harness and hipbelt
with vented backpanel

stows behind a zippered
compartment on the
back of your pack. To
engage backpackable carry, A unzip the backpanel of
your pack and roll it in on itself, tucking it into the
space at the bottom of the pack. B Pull the removable
harness/hipbelt from its compartment. C Insert the
male buckles found at the base of the hipbelt lumbar
area into the female buckles located at the base of the High Road™ Chassis – an audible click should be heard.
To return harness/hipbelt to compartment, reverse this process.

Adjusting the Harness
The harness can be adjusted
to fit different sized torsos.
Find the adjustment arrows A
on the internal backpanel A
and slide your hand behind
the backpanel and between
the harness to break the
hook-and-loop closure.
Slide harness up or down using the embroidered markers
as a guide and re-engage the hook-and-loop closure to
hold the harness in place.
ErgoPull™ Hipbelt
The Meridian/Sojourn pack
hipbelts use our exclusive
ErgoPull™ design. To operate
the ErgoPull™, loosen the
webbing enough so you can
connect the center buckle.
Then grasp the loose ends of
the webbing on either side,
and pull in and across evenly with both hands at the
same time.
Hipbelt/Harness Removal

To remove the pack’s hipbelt and harness system, A with backpanel
B
cover unzipped, unclip the two buckles found at the top of the harness securing it to the pack’s main body. B Slide your hand
behind the backpanel to break the hook/loop closure and remove the harness. When unclipped C
from the base of the High Road™
Chassis, the hipbelt can be removed by C breaking the hookand-loop closure above the lumbar area and removing
the hipbelt. You can now utilize this space for extra gear
or dirty clothes. Reverse to reattach harness and hipbelt.
Liquids Pocket
An easy access liquids/
accessory pocket at
the top of the pack
provides quick access
to liquids when passing
through airport security.
Name Tag Holder
A retractable name tag holder
located on the backpanel
delivers quick, protected
identification.

Fully padded top and side
carry handles combine with a foot bar grab handle
to provide several carry
options.
Sojourn: AddOns™ Attachment
Internal Organization
Inside the main compartment of both the Meridian
and Sojourn packs you will
find front panel zippered
mesh pockets, side zippered
mesh and fabric pockets
and compression straps
to prevent the unwanted
migration of clothing.

Unclip the four buckles
securing the Meridian Day
to the main pack body and
pull the red zipper pull to
fully detach daypack.
Both the main pack body
and the Meridian Daypack
feature recessed padded
buckle sheaths for added
protection.
Courier Bag Attachment
An integrated hideaway courier
bag attachment strap provides
quick and secure carry.
The male attachment buckle on the side of the main
pack body can be clipped into the female buckle on the
front panel of the pack for protection while traveling.
The Meridian Day is a full-featured, detachable
daypack and works for a day-long jaunt or as a carry-on
companion.

With the Meridian Day removed, the Meridian 22”/60l complies with the
maximum carry-on luggage size specifications required by most U.S. airlines.

On the front panel of the
Sojourn you will find four A
D-Rings A for attaching the
Osprey AddOns™ Daylite pack.
Push the slider through the
D-Ring from underneath and
tug on the straps to tighten.

Adjusting the tension on the
straps will allow you to stash
additional gear behind the Daylite.
StraightJacket™ Compression
The Sojourn utilizes foam sidewalls in our StraightJacket™
compression system. The sidewalls securely compress the
contents of the pack and transfer weight to the hipbelt,
regardless of load size. When
the pack is more than 2/3 full,
the compression straps buckle
across the front of the pack A.
For smaller loads connect the
straps to the two female buckles
at the edge of the backpanel.
