tumulus in Japan, with its
mound 486m long.
It seems to have been
built in the late 6th
century.

tumuli, were constructed from the
late 4th century to the mid 5th
century. There are 44 remaining
kofun including the world's largest
ancient tumulus, Nintoku-tenno-ryo
Kofun and many large
(keyhole-shaped tumuli).
