The Lionel Club house is located in the rear of the strip mall on Calhoun and Cleveland Ave. The club will be open for members and their families to enjoy the hobby of model train collecting and operation. Please bring your children grand children sons and daughters. There will be a number of trains running on their large layout as well as trains for children to operate. Please mark the date. LOOKING DOWN THE ROAD: Looking into the future, I am looking at a couple of outings, 1) Cedarburg in Fall or early Winter with time for shopping for the ladies. 2) A Saturday meeting at Mike's Radiator on Sunset Thanks, as always any questions for any of these events call Tom Garibaldi @ 262-547-5212. The Picnic and Auction on September the 8th has come and gone. Another great time at the picnic and Auction. All total there were 76 of us who enjoyed the food, fun and junk swap. The event went off without a hitch, aside from the Packers not doing so well Nancy Kelly and her Mom out did themselves with this years dolls. The event raised enough money to cover the expenses and donate money to charity in the clubs name. Remember this year like every year the club matches the money raised at the auction with the total going to charity. Thank you to everyone for making this event the success that it is and we will see you again next year, our 30th The Spark and Sputter is published every other month which makes planning and announcing activities difficult, especially during the warm weather months. I have begun using the internet to communicate with club members regarding activities. I would like to ask those of you who don’t use email if you would mind if I hook you up with a TECHKNOW-BUDDY to keep you informed. This would make it easier to get groups together to do things, and to get the word out quickly if something happens which causes a cancellation. This would provide greater flexibility resulting in more activities, and more importantly, having more members participate. Note 6 Swap Space For Sale: 1950 Ford Custom 2 door sedan.
