PREFACE
The Franklin County Area Development Corporation (FCADC) is an organization dedicated to
retaining and growing Franklin County businesses in order to provide the ideal setting to live and
work. FCADC is committed to the formulation, implementation, and promotion of a
comprehensive county-wide economic development strategy and is structured and funded in a
manner that ensures county-wide participation. We rely on a partnership of public, quasi-public,
and private sectors for funding and support, and we would like to acknowledge and thank each
contributor who has invested in our mission and the future of Franklin County; each has been vital
in helping us reach our goals.
The FCADC Board of Directors has adopted a three phase mission centered on: 1) the selective
attraction of new industries to Franklin County; 2) the retention and expansion of existing firms;
and 3) the start-up of new enterprises. The Industrial Directory is intended to provide a
comprehensive listing of county firms engaged in manufacturing/industrial activities, building
trades, and professional services - all of which are involved in the economic growth of the County.
As you review the Directory, you will notice the strength and diversity of Franklin County’s
manufacturing sector. It is our existing firms that remain the backbone of our local economy.
Because of this, FCADC has identified retention/expansion as the cornerstone of its economic
development strategy. It is confidence in our local economy that is essential in attracting new firms
to our area and encouraging new business start-ups. Moreover, we are appreciative of the
