Hunt Rules: • Only Hunt Officials are allowed on the Hunt Field before or after a hunt. • Only Hunt Officials and Contestants are allowed on the Hunt Filed during a hunt. • Contestants must use only the equipment they entered the field with. • Contestants must use headphones during the hunt. • Metal detector coils are limited to 10.5 inches maximum. • Hunt officials rulings are final. Camping Information: Chapter members and guests may dry camp free on Chapter and Association Claims. Non members note the Radersburg BlM OHV Intensive Use Area adjacent to the claim has parking, primitive camping and an outhouse. Motel Information: Helena and Townsend are northwest of our site. Three Forks is southeast .AII communities have motels rooms. Please check our reference maps. Concessions and Potluck Dinner: Concessions will be available for lunch. After the hunt on Saturday evening we hold a potluck meal about 6:00 pm. Directions: From Interstate 90, Three Forks Montana: Interstate 90 exit 274, travel north on US28719.4 miles. Turn west (left) at the Bunkhouse Bar onto Highway 285. Travel 9.2 miles to Radersburg. Turn Southwest (left) on Mill Street, go 1 mile to the cattle guard, Hunt ground, and chapter claim is 100 feet past cattle guard. In consideration of the opportunity to participate and or participation in any outings, trips, events, other activities of the Headwaters Chapter of the Gold Prospectors Association of America, I, for myself and my heirs, assigns, executors and administrators, agree that the Headwaters Chapter of the Gold Prospectors Association of America and its officers, directors, instructors, trip and event leaders, assistants, agents and representatives, and/or their agents to indemnify and hold harmless the parties from and against any and all actions, claims, demands, liability, loss, damage and expense of any kind, including attorney's fees, arising from such claims. I am aware and familiar with the ordinary hazards and risks involved in the activities stated above, and I, understand that I am assuming those risks. I realize that metal detecting, gold prospecting and associated activities can be dangerous. The terrain is hazardous and there may be domestic or wild animals, and snakes present. Some locations have open shafts and tunnels. Some areas will be suitable only for four-wheeled drive vehicles or four wheelers. I assume full responsibility for any injury, loss, or liability, which may result or be alleged to have resulted from my participation in these activities. This includes but is not limited to, loss of life, limb, and sight. Loss and liability is also accepted for, but not limited to metal detectors, mining equipment, pets and vehicles. This agreement includes the trip to and from the actual location of the outing. This document applies to any and all prospecting and treasure hunting trips taken through the Headwaters Chapter of the Gold Prospectors Association of America. It applies not only to the date of signature, but to any and all future dates. This document will be in effect until and unless written revocation is received.
