Paperchine’s highly experienced Engineers and Technicians dedicated to the
craft of Tail Threading are available to assist by identifying, defining, and offering
recommended components & solutions to ensure the longevity of your Tail
Threading equipment. Our ability and know-how allow us to specialize in the

Paperchine offers a full line of high quality single and double acting guide palm
valve assemblies. Our valve assemblies adapt to the different paper machine
fabric tension requirements and paddle designs through the simple change of
a spring. Single acting mounting and operation configurations are designed for
either tending or drive side installation to optimize machine clothing changes and
clothing tracking adjustments.
Paperchine is the exclusive supplier of Lawton’s complete line of foundry cast paper
machine products including dryer heads, spur and helical gears, and spare parts.
Lawton has supported the North American paper industry for more than a century.
Through extensive expertise with this evolving industry, Lawton remains a premier
producer of castings and machined components for the paper industry. This stems
both from the quality of Lawton products and technical support for which Lawton’s
long been known.
Palm paddle wear protection increases with the correct selection of material for the
application. Hard chromium plated, chrome oxide coated, ceramic and stainless
steel paddles are available to help you reduce inventory costs and increase clothing
edge life. The hard chromium plated palm paddle provides up to ten times the
service life of stainless steel paddles.

Paperchine’s replacement part support capabilities include the new FARO Arm®
and FARO Laser Tracker®. Both products can be used in customer machine rooms
and mill stores to greatly extend the measurement accuracy and reduce time
requirements when collecting field data for supplying replacement parts. The
digital files collected are used to build a SolidWorks® 3-D model of the parts or
system to be replaced. This provides further assurance that the replacement part
supplied will duplicate or outperform the original part.
Our staff provides guidance through the identification process, production, and
logistic requirements to support your needs. A replacement parts specialist is
available 24/7 to assist in maximizing machine uptime.
