These are exciting times for DART Aerospace. Looking back over the past year, we have much to be
proud of.
A key tenet of our strategy, in this globally competitive world, is to be the Partner of choice of our
customers. In 2013, we continued to increase our investment in product development by adding to our
portfolio 25 new organic STC products, all designed, manufactured and certified by DART. We also
expanded our presence worldwide to better serve our customers. Over the last year, we have developed and secured key partnerships with new distributors in Western Europe and Russia, formalized
our collaboration agreement with Pall Corporation for the engine protection systems, and added new
talents to our sales team to better respond to our customer’s specific needs.
We have strengthened our corporate identity throughout the year making the DART brand a wellrecognized and reliable choice for providing the right equipment, across all OEM platforms.
In 2014, DART will continue to focus on client satisfaction and will capitalize on our unique portfolio
that distinguishes DART from our competitors. With that in mind, we are pleased to present the 2014

2 AFTERMARKET
DART Aerospace continues to demonstrate excellence in rotorcraft aftermarket parts and
accessory manufacturing and distribution. With a wide selection of top-quality helicopter
accessories and components that improve rotary-wing fleet operations, DART is a wellrecognized and reliable choice for providing the right equipment across all OEM platforms.
DART also has extensive experience in collaborating with the FAA, EASA, Transport Canada
and other authorities to obtain certification approvals.
2 OEM SUPPLY
Since 2013, DART Aerospace has decided to strengthen its partnership with the major helicopter OEM and has initiated the co-development of missionized equipment for twin-engine
and medium-size helicopters. While understanding the pros and cons of the two approaches
DART now offers to the OEM the choice to certify co-developed systems either through the
aircraft type certificate or through its traditional STC approach. Whether DART is working with
operators, completion centers or helicopter OEM to develop new solutions, DART always aims
to maintain the same reputation with its customers: a fast development turnaround time combined with its legendary responsiveness, and a constant flow of communication with key
operators that ensures deep product knowledge.

2 SUPPORT NETWORK AND APPROVED SERVICE CENTERS
DART Aerospace offers global coverage through its network of DART service centers and
approved third-party service centers. DART’s support network includes FAA and EASA PART
145 approved facilities and focuses primarily on the maintenance, repair and overhaul of
emergency flotation equipment, landing gear and cargo expansion equipment. Strict guidelines
that surpass the requirements of the various aviation authorities are followed thoroughly. DART
is continuously looking at expanding its coverage by partnering up with local service centers.
DART’s fully-owned service center located in Broussard, Louisiana (USA) offers a complete
range of repair and overhaul services for emergency float equipment, fuel cells, inflatable liferafts and life vests. The maintenance services offered at this facility cover DART equipment,
former Apical Industries equipment as well as equipment from other OEM. Our experienced
personnel ensure that reliability, customer service and competitive lead times are the key focus.
DART’s fully-owned service center located in Oceanside, California (USA) along with our
network of approved service centers offer maintenance, repair and overhaul services for DART
emergency float and liferaft systems (also formerly known as Apical Industries), product
inspection and testing. Competitive exchange programs to reduce downtime and to ensure our
customers are always Mission Ready are also available.
DART’s service center located in Eugene, Oregon offers repair and overhaul services for
cargo hooks, long lines and swivels. The Hawkesbury, Ontario service center focuses mainly
on the repair and overhaul of sheet metal structures (Skidtubes, Crosstubes, etc.), welding
(Baskets and Wearplates) and composites (Spacepods™, Heli-Utility-Pods™, etc.). DART is
committed to providing the industry with dependable services, tailored to meet its
customers’ requirements.

DART understands the undesired consequences of an AOG. With that in mind, our AOG
service is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to ensure you are back to your normal operations as soon as possible.

Sales and Distribution
DART Aerospace’s sales channels include a dedicated team
of direct sales representatives and a network of local approved
distributors. The DART sales team has been evolving significantly
over the last year to better support our customer base. In addition
to our team of inside sales representatives, we recently created
two new positions: (1) regional sales managers and (2) account
managers. These positions will allow DART to better support our
most demanding customers based on their needs, growth potential
and geographical location.
DART also partnered with two new local distributors in 2013:
(1) Heliatica for Russia CIS and (2) Heliswiss Iberica in Barcelona.
Heliatica will support DART in the acquisition of foreign Russian
approvals for its STC products. Heliswiss Iberica will support DART
to further expand in Europe. Heliswiss Iberica has hired a dedicated
Regional Sales Manager to serve local customers. They will also be
maintaining DART stocks in their warehouse in Barcelona and will
offer on-site technical support to European customers.

Product Description
The Emergency Float Kits are comprised of two Fwd floats and two Aft floats
mounted on the skids, and an inflation system. The 644.7001 kit is the same as the
644.7002 kit except that the skid extensions are included for use with standard
skid gear with the 644.7001. The installation provides for over water emergency
landing capability. Each float is constructed of lightweight urethane-coated nylon
fabric. The floats include inlet check valves and combination manual topping/pressure relief valves. The float bags are on-condition and do not have to be returned
to the factory for recertification. Factory recertification of the system is available
for customers who desire OEM services.

The R66 Emergency Float Kit is comprised of two Fwd floats and two Aft
floats mounted on the skids, and an inflation system. Skid extensions are
included for use with standard skid gear. The installation provides for over
water emergency landing capability. Each float is constructed of lightweight
urethane-coated nylon fabric. The floats include inlet check valves and combination manual topping/pressure relief valves. The floats are on-condition and
do not have to be returned to the factory for recertification. Factory recertification of the system is available for customers who desire OEM services.

The HT-300-CW Wash System is small and light, perfect for working at a
distance from the home field. Salt air and forest fire smoke are examples of
conditions that will cause engine component damage if compressor blade
maintenance is not performed promptly. The Series 300 will allow you to
deliver wash and rinse cycles within manufacturer specifications.
The HT-300-CW is a 3 Gallon portable engine compressor washer. Comes
with its own air source or uses shop air. Easy to store and transport to
the helicopter.

For as long as helicopters have been in operation, soft terrain landings have
created problems for pilots. Without Bearpaws, you may have experienced
balancing problems when landing or taking off in soft terrain such as tundra,
snow, or sand.
DART Aerospace Bearpaws are constructed of a high density polymer, not
plywood, aluminum or composite. This polymer resists cracking, chipping
and breaking. The one-piece machined construction ensures consistent and
deliberate load transfer. The material is also flexible, so it can deflect under
high-point contact loads when landing on rocks or roots, and DART Aerospace
Bearpaws have an inherent memory, so they return to their original shape
upon take off.
