Introduction

I ventured into the world of art at the tender ago of three
when I decided that my Grandmother’s white walls needed a
makeover with
with magenta crayon and my Mom’s white floral
damask couch looked better when I outlined the designs in
blue ballpoint pen. While my art and decorating skills did
not receive rave reviews back then, I was not deterred. I concontinued to explore art over the years, creating paintings and
murals for my home and those of my family and clients. I
plunged into
into theatrical set design and helped create large
scale stage backdrops. Along the way, I discovered the art
of glass beadbead-making

that my passion for art and jewelry would one day meet.
Lisa Rogers Wearable Art started
started when I had purchased a
vintage brooch at an antique shop and the glass cabochon
fell out. I sat looking at it and thought it would be a great
setting for a little painting. Hours later, I knew I had somesomething wonderful.
