COUPLINGS
One of the most important parts of the trailer is the coupling.
There are various types depending on how the trailer has
been constructed, and its Gross Weight. For a Braked Trailer
you must have a type approved coupling which is available
in A-frame and straight drawbar variations. Unbraked
couplings are mostly designed for straight drawbar
applications, and can only be used on trailers with a Gross
Weight of less than 750kg. They are either manufactured
from cast material or pressed steel, available to suit various
different size box sections.

frayed cable, or a distorted clip, it
