Hey, does it really make any sense for someone
in your position to be worrying about a bunch of little holes?
We don’t think so. Because
we pioneered automated mechanical drills for the
printed circuit board industry almost 40 years ago, our
experience, products and support can probably make
your life a little easier. And today we offer a full line of
mechanical drills and routers, as well as laser drills.
In fact, that’s all we make –no stereos, no microwaves.
Just big machines that can make itsy-bitsy holes.
After all, your job’s challenging
enough without worrying about something as small as
a human hair. To learn more about Excellon, just give
us a call at 1-800-EXCELLON.

You know, this may be a bad time, but did you ever consider
that there might be a way to make your life a bit easier?
Probably not. Well, good
thing we launched the first automated mechanical drill
for the printed circuit board industry nearly 40 years
ago. Because the things we’ve learned over those
years could mean a little less for you to worry about
today. And that’s why we continue to make a full line
of mechanical drills, routers, and even laser drills.
Right here, in the good ol’ US of A. Not clear across
the ocean. Because your job keeps you busy enough
without worrying about a bunch of teeny-weeny holes.
To learn how Excellon’s
experience, products and support can make your life
a little easier, give us a call at 1-800-EXCELLON.

HVP5
HVP 5 Driller
Up to 30" x 36" (762 x 914 mm)
Delivering higher
production capacity
at the lowest cost
per hole.
When you’re doing backpanel applications,
you need a drill that’s fast. Accurate. And provides extremely high throughput
at an exceptionally low cost. Excellon’s HVP 5 is it. HVP means High Velocity
Precision. With speeds up to 2000 ipm, this 5-spindle drilling unit provides
the higher accelerations necessary for increased throughput, especially on
short moves. That translates to higher production capacity and the lowest
cost per hole. Hey, saving money is half the battle, right?
Saving time is the other half. That’s where the HVP 5’s new CNC-7
controller comes in. With it, you can significantly reduce setup times.
Of course, you’d like your drill to be as accurate as possible. And
with Excellon’s proven Dynamic Temperature and Accuracy Control System
(DCS), it’s a done deal. By controlling the temperature of the HVP 5’s critical
parts, DCS lets you to handle the most demanding drilling applications with
much greater accuracy. That’s bound to take some heat off.
It’s our custom to offer more options.
We recognize that custom configuration is the name of the game.
That’s why the HVP 5 offers a number of innovative options. ◆ Our EZ
Tooling system lets you increase registration drilling accuracy, reliability and
ease of setup. ◆ Our Electronic Field Sensor (EFS) actually senses the point
at which a tool touches the top surface of a metallic material. So you get the
most reliable and repeatable controlled-depth drilling of blind vias. ◆ Our
Drills are the last thing
you need to worry about.
After nearly 40 years in the business,
rest assured we have everything it takes
to take the pressure off you. The products.
The support. And most of all, the
Multiple Cassette Holder (MCH) provides up to 960 tools per station. Just
experience. To learn more about Excellon,
think what that means during long jobs. Much less idle time and operator
and how we can help you, just give us
intervention. And much more productivity. ◆ Our 170K rpm spindle combined
a call at 1-800-EXCELLON.
with Pulse Drilling* provides a wide range of spindle speeds for increased
speed and throughput in small hole and micro-drilling applications.
