Jack Alberti
&
Edward “Bud” Finley
Jack Alberti
Jack Alberti was one of the original teachers at Mission San Jose
High School that helped open the school in 1964. He was a very
popular teacher who taught a variety of subjects ranging from art to
world studies. He even started a social dance class where he taught
his students a variety of dances, which makes Jack the original
“dancing with the stars” teacher. Jack spent 28 years teaching at
MSJHS and was one of the first “true warriors” through and through.
Aside from his countless hours spent in the classroom with his
students, Jack spent an equal, if not more time supporting the
student-athletes of MSJ at any and all sporting events. He was a
constant figure on the sidelines at football games working the chain
gang and has found memories of the 1969-1970 team as well as the
1977 North Coast Section Championship teams. He loved watching
wrestling, basketball, baseball and any other sport his students
participated in. He loved watching his students compete. His unselfish
nature and commitment to MSJHS athletics was a never-ending love.
Jack Alberti embodies the true warriors spirit. His passion and drive to
help Mission San Jose athletics will always be appreciated.
Edward “Bud” Finley
Bud Finley taught at Mission San Jose High School for over 37 years.
He was a dedicated award winning fine arts teacher and mentor to
thousands of students as well as student-athletes. He coached football
for 10 years at the freshman level from 1971 - 1981 and was
instrumental in the development of young football players. Most of
these players would later go on to help MSJHS win the 1977 NCS
Football Championship. After retiring from coaching football he
assisted the athletic department in multiple ways. His award winning
woodshop provided the athletic department with trophies, various
awards, backdrops and other manufactured items to assist the
coaches and athletes. Bud Finley won the “ Golden Bear” award 18
times. This award was given to the best industrial arts teacher in the
State of California each year. In retrospect Bud Finley has more “state
titles” than any coach, athlete or team in the history of MSJ. Bud
Finley is a tremendous example of quality teaching and student-athlete
support. Bud Finley deserves to be honored as one of the many
outstanding individuals Mission San Jose High School has had to offer
to our community.

Linda Campana
Tennis Coach
Linda Campana taught and coached at Mission San Jose High
School for over 30 years. She mainly coached girls and boys tennis
but also coached field hockey & basketball. Linda was also
responsible for Mission’s very successful dance program for eight
years during the 80’s. This outstanding dance program produced
many professional dancers and some of these dancers still own
dance studios in Fremont due to Linda’s influence and mentoring.
During her years as a head tennis coach, she had 7 MVAL
Championship teams. Her teams also had numerous NCS
appearances. Linda has recently returned to coaching the girl’s
tennis team at MSJ. In 2014 her team finished 14-0-1 and added
another MVAL Championship to her long list of accomplishments. In
2012 Linda was named Alameda County’s Women of the Year for
Teaching and Coaching.
Ray Gehrke
Tennis Coach
Ray Gehrke was a legendary physical education teacher at Centerville
Jr. High School and one of the many long time tennis coaches at
Mission San Jose. Ray Gehrke had a phenomenal coaching career
during his 9 seasons from 1995 – 2003. His teams won the MVAL
Championship title each of the nine years he coached. They amassed
79 consecutive MVAL wins from 1997- 2003. In addition, coach
Gehrke’s teams had a MVAL record of 105-3 (97%). His overall record
was 154-16 (90%). Seven of his nine seasons were undefeated
seasons. In 1996 he coached Kelvin Yeh (2015 Hall of Fame inductee)
to an undefeated NCS Championship. In 1999 when the NCS first
offered a team championship, Ray’s team took 2nd place. His team
placed 2nd again in 2000 with his doubles team reaching the finals. His
teams continued their success in the NCS with 3rd place finishes in
2001, 2002 and 2003. In 1995 His team won the NCS Scholastic Award
with a cumulative GPA of 3.85. In 2004, Ray was selected as the the
NCS Honor Coach.
Jack Marden Jr.
Cross Country / Track & Field
Jack Marden Jr. was inducted into the Hall of Fame as an athlete in
2001. He is now being inducted as a coach and is the first in the
history of the Hall of Fame to receive this honor. Jack has
coachedcross country for 24 years and track & field for 8 years. During
his 24 years as a cross country head coach his varsity girls teams
have won 17 league titles while the boys have won nine titles. His
track and field teams have one MVAL title. In 1997 his girls cross
country team placed 3rd and the boys teams finished 5th in the CIF
State Meet. That same year, the boy’s team placed 2nd in the CIF state
track and field meet. The success continued that year with the boy’s
distance medley relay team placing 3rd in the U.S. In 1998 the boys
team finished 3rd in the CIF state track and field meet. Jack is a
physical education and history teacher at MSJ for 27 years. He
recently served as the Exalted Ruler of the Santa Cruz Chapter of the
Elks Lodge in 2013. His athletes have achieved success at the highest
level of state and national competition. Many have gone on to obtain
scholarships at major universities because of his mentoring.
Gary Oliveira
Wrestling Coach
Gary Oliveira (class of 1987) was a four-year varsity wrestler at Mission.
He was a MVAL champion and placed 5th in the North Coast Section
Championships his senior year. He then went on to wrestle at Chabot
College where he placed 5th in the Junior College State Championships.
Gary then continued his wrestling career at San Francisco State. While
attending Chabot and S.F. State he returned to Mission to be an
assistant wrestling coach. His dedication and commitment to the
wrestling program has lasted 28 years. Gary’s technical skills and
expertise helped to develop and mold some of the finest wrestlers at
MSJHS. Ironically, a few of them are being inducted along side him
tonight. Gary’s ability to get the best out of all his wrestlers is a true
gift. He never settles for anything less than 100% from his wrestlers
and his relentless determination to get them to excel is nothing short of
amazing. He has had a profound impact on hundreds if not thousands of
young adults who have been lucky enough to have Gary as their mentor.
Pete Vaz
Basketball Coach
Pete Vaz coached the Mission San Jose men’s basketball program for
25 years. He has the most wins by any coach in MSJHS basketball
history. As the head coach, he guided the warriors to one MVAL
championship and 4 NCS appearances. He coached MSJHS greats
such as MSJHS Hall of Fame inductees Kevin Nanney and Andy
Newman. Since stepping down as the head coach at Mission San Jose
High School, Pete continued to have success at Castro Valley H.S. and
Dublin H.S. As an assistant coach at Castro Valley H.S. for two years,
the team was 55-10 and had a NCS Nor Cal Finals appearance. While
coaching at Dublin H.S. that team made it to the NCS Nor Cal Finals as
well. Pete then returned to Castro Valley H.S. as a head coach for two
years. Over that two year span, his teams won 35 games and had two
NCS appearances. Pete has been a physical education and health
teacher for 30 years. Pete and his wife have two children and currently
live in Castro Valley.
Induction of Athletes
Michelle Apra - 1986
Tennis
Michelle Apra was by far one of the best women's tennis
players the MVAL has seen. She was an undefeated MVAL
champion and NCS runner up her freshman year. She was
ranked #2 in California and ranked #15 Nationally that
same year. After her freshman year she decided to play on
the USTA circuit. She eventually received a full scholarship
to play singles and doubles at San Diego State where she
played all four years and was ranked in the top 20 in
Division 1 while playing for the Aztecs. She currently is a
business owner / commercial property appraiser.
Robin VanDeusen Jr.– 1999
Football / Wrestling / Track & Field
Robin’s athletic career included playing football for 4 years,
wrestling for 4 years and throwing the shot put and discus on the
track team. In wrestling, he was a NCS qualifier. Robin’s love for
football & wrestling as well as many other sports continued into
his college years after being appointed to the United States
Military Academy (West Point, NY). While at West Point, Robin
continued to demonstrate the core values of integrity,
sportsmanship and citizenship. These values are what helped
Robin become a very successful student-athlete in high school
and they continued in his college and military career. His strong
leadership skills and mentoring of numerous younger adults
continues to this day as he distinguishes himself as a professional
soldier. His military awards and service to our country includes
three tours of Iraq, being awarded the bronze star, 2
commendation medals, and a combat action medal to name a few.
The Mission San Jose high school athletic program is proud to
induct Robin VanDeusen Jr. into our athletic Hall of Fame for the
above mentioned attributes and for his service to our country.
Keith Richards – 1992
Wrestling
Keith is considered by many to be one of the best wrestlers Mission has
ever had. After starting his wrestling career at a young age in the
warrior wrestling club, Keith moved to Oklahoma with his family before
his freshman year. There he became a 3X Oklahoma state champion. He
then returned to MSJ in 1992 and won the MVAL championship at 152
lbs. He went on to place 2nd in the NCS that same year. At the 1992 CIF
State Wrestling Tournament Keith avenged an earlier loss to the same
opponent that beat him the week before at NCS to win the 1992 CIF
State Championship Title. His career record was an astounding 170-3.
His 49-1 record with 35 pins during his senior is the best ever by a MSJ
wrestler. Keith still holds the record for least times taken down in a
season by his opponents with 4. Keith presently lives in Oklahoma and
is currently a mixed martial arts fighter.
Steve Buckholz – 1985
Baseball & Basketball
Steve was a four year varsity baseball player and two year
varsity basketball player for the warriors. Steve started his
baseball prowess early in his career while playing little
league in Fremont where he was an unhittable pitcher as
well as a home run hitter. That dominance continued in the
MVAL where he was a first team all MVAL selection as a
pitcher. After having a successful high school career Steve
received a full scholarship to be a Fresno State Bulldog.
His college baseball career proved to be as successful as
his days with the Mission San Jose Warriors. Steve was
drafted in the 4th round of the MLB draft by the Pittsburg
Pirates in 1988 where he pitched in their farm league from
1988 – 1992 reaching double A in 1991 & 1992. Tragically,
his life was cut short in 2002. Mission San Jose High
School will always remember Steve Buckholz as a the true
warrior!
Jenna Long – 2002
Tennis
Jenna Long was a 2X MVAL Champion for the perennial
powerhouse girl’s tennis team. In 1999 she was runner up
in the North Coast Section Championships. She stepped up
the podium in 2000 to claim the North Coast Section
Singles title. She also helped her team make to the semifinals of the NCS team championships that same year. With
a national ranking of 6th, she had offers from USC, Cal,
Colorado, & Vanderbilt before settling on UNC at Chapel
Hill where she was an All American for two years. Upon
graduating from UNC her doubles partner and she qualified
and played in the US open. Jenna is now working as a
lawyer.
Bill Thomas – 1981
Football / Baseball
Bill was a two sport athlete at MSJ playing football and baseball. On
the 1979 football team Bill started every game as the warriors free
safety and they ended up 10-1 winning the MVAL Championship. As a
junior he was a first team all MVAL selection. He as also named to the
All South County Team and was selected second team All East Bay. In
1980, Bill helped his football team win another MVAL championship.
That year the team also played in the NCS championship game in the
Oakland Coliseum. Bill averaged 25.6 yards per reception that year. He
was named to first team all MVAL as a safety and wide receiver and
first team all south county and first team all east bay. In baseball, Bill
was a two year starter on the 1980 and 1981 MVAL championship
teams. His senior year he had a .313 batting average and led the team
in HR and stolen bases. Bill was a three year starter on the UC Davis
football team playing in 38 games including 5 NCAA national playoff
games and 1 National Championship game. He currently lives in
Vancouver Washington where he is the owner and president of supply
chain management company - Logistics Solutions, Inc.
Waylon Miller – 1997
Wrestling
Waylon Miller was a 2X MVAL champion in 1997 & 1998 for the
warriors. He was also a 3X North Coast Section place winner.
His two North Coast Section Championships came in 1996 &
1997. After winning the NCS title in 1997, he capped off his
impressive high school career with a 6th place finish at the CIF
State Championships. His 4 year career record of 140-40
stands as one of the best in warrior wrestling history. During
his senior year Waylon’s record was an amazing 52-7 and still
holds the single season record for most matches in a year
with 59. He won 8 varsity tournaments in his career and had
225 career takedowns. Waylon is now a jr. high school teacher
and coach in San Lorenzo. He is married and has two children.
Chris Raimondi – 2001
Swimming
Chris Raimondi swam all fours years for the warriors. His
Hall of Fame swimming coach Jan Frydendhal says “ Chris
had a fantastic swimming career and was a dominant force
in the MVAL for many years”. Chris was a 10X MVAL
champion. He held 4 MSJHS swimming records and 4
MVAL records (his 100 backstroke record still stands). He
was a 7X NCS finalist scoring over 100 points for his team.
After high school, Chris went on to UOP and had a very
successful 4 year collegiate career as well. After
graduating from UOP, he went on to the UOP grad school
for dentistry and then directly in to the US Air force upon
becoming a dentist. He lives and works at Lackland AFB in
San Antonio Texas and holds the rank of Major, USAF.
Stan Baker – 1985
Soccer
Stan Baker was a four year soccer player and an all MVAL first team
selection his senior year. Stan also helped his teams to two NCS
appearances. In addition to his playing at MSJHS he also played on the
CYSA state championship soccer team. He went on to play soccer at
the four time Canadian National Champions University of Alberta in
Canada. He coached at Western Oregon University and Lewis & Clark
College. In 2011 Stan was named as the United States Youth Soccer
National Coach of The Year. Stan has published a book titled “ Our
Competition is the World” and is presently the director of player
development at the Hillsboro soccer club. He has taught K-12 for 17
years and coached soccer for over 20 years. He currently lives in
Portland Oregon with his wife and two children.
Nina Suryoutomo – 1999
Swimming
Nina Suryoutomo had a fantastic 4 year swimming career
at Mission. Nina was a dominant sprint freestyler her
entire time she swam for the warriors and NEVER lost a 50
yard free in MVAL competition. She was also the anchor on
countless relays, including those that set records in the
North Coast Section. Nina was a 6X MVAL champion. She
held numerous records at Mission and in the MVAL during
her reign. Nina was a 6X NCS finalist scoring over 70
points for her team in NCS competition. Nina went on to
Boston College and swam all four years while earning a
degree in Economics. After completing her Master’s
degree at Boston College, she returned to the Bay Area
and now works in San Francisco at a major accounting
firm.
Katie Hotchkiss (Faul) – 1999
Cross Country / Track & Field
Katie Hotchkiss goes down in the cross country and track & field
records books as one of the best ever to walk the halls of MSJHS. Her
accomplishments are awe inspiring to say the least. In XC she is the
only female in the history of the MVAL to be a 4X champion. She was
also a 2X NCS champion her freshman and junior year. In 1998, Katie
won the CIF State Cross Country Championships and helped her team
to a third place finish. Her track and field career was even more
impressive. In 1997 she ran on the 1600 meter relay team that
medaled at the CIF championships. She then placed 2nd in the CIF
State Championships in the 800 AND 1600 meters in 1999. Katie ran to
a National Championship title in the mile at the Chase Melrose Games
at Madison Square Garden in 1999 and was a National Champion in the
1600 meters that same year at the Nike Classic. She was ranked 2nd in
the US for the 800 meter (2:08.22) and 3rd in the US for 1600 meters
(4:49.71). Katie received a full scholarship to Stanford where she
became an All American. Katie is presently working at Facebook, is
married and has a two year old daughter who tends to “run” all over
the house!
Michael Phelps – 1973
Swimming
Who knew that Mission San Jose high school had it’s own Michael
Phelps! Our Michael Phelps was a MVAL champion for the warriors and
set the league record for the breaststroke in his junior year. He also
swam the breaststroke leg of the medley relay that broke the school
record. By the end of his senior year, Michael had the sixth fastest
time in the nation for the breaststroke. At Foothill Jr. College, he
continued to set records. He set the National Jr. College record in the
100 and 200 breaststroke during both his freshman and sophomore
years. He then continued swimming at Indiana University where he
became a three time all American swimming in the finals of the Big
Ten & NCAA Nationals. In 1980, Michael qualified for the 1980 Olympic
trials but unfortunately President Jimmy Carter boycotted the Olympic
games. Michael has been a chiropractor for 23 years and lives in
Ellettsville Indiana.
Joey VanDeusen – 2007
Football / Basketball / Baseball
Joey VanDeusen was a 3 sport athlete during his days as a warrior. He
played football, basketball and baseball. As a quarterback on the
football team, Joey was captain of the team and an all MVAL selection
his junior and senior years and team MVP. He was also an all MVAL
selection in basketball his senior year as well as the team MVP. On the
diamond, he was again selected as an all MVAL player and team MVP.
The accumulation of his varsity letters gave Joey the coveted white
sweater award. He capped an outstanding high school career by being
selected as the Argus Eastbay Male Athlete of the Year. Being an
outstanding leader and member of the national honor Society led to
Joey being appointed to and attending the US Military Academy (West
Point N.Y.). There he was on the Army football team for 2 years. Joey
has also been awarded the Bronze Star and Combat Action Badge for
service to his country. MSJHS is proud to induct Joey VanDeusen into
the Athletic Hall of Fame.
Kelvin Yeh – 1996
Tennis
Hall of Fame coach Ray Gehrke says of his star tennis player,
“Kelvin Yeh was the epitome of the exceptional athlete. He was
very consistently self motivated and did not need much
encouragement because his desire to succeed came from within”.
Coach Ray also stated that Kelvin’s impressive four year record in
the MVAL (45-1), was the result not only of Kelvin’s expertise in
the sport of tennis but to a maturity of character well beyond his
years. Kelvin Yeh had the ability to instill strong confidence within
him, never failing to appear calm under pressure no matter what
the challenge. Kelvin’s leadership also played a key part in helping
the team to 4 MVAL championships. Kelvin was a 4X MVAL
champion and a NCS scholar-athlete. In 1995 he advanced to the
NCS semi-finals. In 1996 he brought home the NCS tennis singles
title to Mission San Jose High School. After High School he
attended Cal Berkeley. After graduating from Cal he went to the
Ohio State School of Medicine. Kelvin is now a Certified Board MD
Gastroenterologist.
Randy Katz – 1999
Wrestling
To say Randy Katz was born to wrestle would be an understatement.
His wrestling career as a warrior still stands as one of the best ever.
Randy’s four year H.S. career record was an amazing 193-33 with 86 of
those wins by pin. He won 18 varsity tournaments. He was a 3X MVAL
champion, won the prestigious MSJ invitational 3 times and was a 2X
NCS champion. Randy placed 8th and 4th in the CIF State Wrestling
Championships respectively. He capped of his senior year by placing 7th
in the high school nationals to become an NHSCA All American. His
wrestling career continued at UC Davis where he graduated with a
degree in Managerial Economics. Randy has been an accomplished
wrestling official since 2003 and was selected to referee the 2014 CIF
State Wrestling Championships. He is now an avid distance runner and
has completed four 50 mile ultra marathons. He also completed the 100
mile San Diego endurance run and the Boston, S.F. and N.Y. Marathons.
He now lives and works in S.F. as a business broker.
David Rodriguez – 1997
Cross Country / Track & Field
David Rodriguez ran cross country and track & field all fours years
for Mission. Along with teammates John Stevens and Katie
Hotchkiss. They were known as one of the best trifecta’s around
the MVAL, NCS section and CIF. In XC David was the CIF Dll Cross
Country State Champion in 1996. In 1997 he placed 2nd in the
3,200 meters at the CIF State Track & Field Championships. He
was also voted the MSJHS male athlete of the year in 1997. After
his phenomenal H.S. career, he attended Georgetown University
on a scholarship. There he placed 8th in the 1997 USATF XC
Championships. Which qualified him for the IAAF world XC
Championships in Morocco. In 1998 he again qualified for the
World XC championships in Morocco where he represented the US
Junior National Team. At Georgetown David was a NCAA Dl cross
country All American in 2000. In 2002 he graduated from
Georgetown University. He later went on to UCLA where he
received his Masters in Education in 2012. He currently lives and
works in L.A. as an elementary school teacher.
Rob VanDeusen Sr.- 1971
Football / Basketball / Baseball
Rob VanDeusen Sr. was a 3 sport athlete playing football, basketball
and baseball and he excelled at all three. In football he was first team
all MVAL selection on offense and defense his Sr. year. That same year
Rob was the leading receiver in the East Bay and team captain. While
on the basketball team he was the starting forward his senior year. He
was also the starting catcher on the baseball team. Rob was awarded
the “unsung hero award” which was given by the Argus for being the
best three sport athlete in the MVAL. After his high school career, Rob
went on to play Div 1 football at he United States Military Academy (
West Point, NY) from 1971 – 1975. Rob returned to MSJ in 1990 as a
teacher. While teaching he also coached football, (10 years) baseball
for 5 years and softball for 3 years.
Devin Kendall – 1993
Football / Basketball / Baseball
Devin’s athletic career at MSJ included football, basketball and
baseball. He was one of the rare three sport athletes who
excelled in all his endeavors on and off the playing fields and
excelled in the classroom as well as the band room. Devin was an
all MVAL first team tight end and baseball player. He was selected
to the Alameda County All Star football team his senior year. He
was athlete of the year in 1993 and a scholar-athlete all four
years. He played first chair trumpet all four years where he won
numerous band awards. He continued his football career at Laney
College and was an All JC American. He accepted a full football
scholarship to Arizona State in 1995. At Arizona, he was a Pac 10
and NCAA Academic All American He started on the offense in
1996 and played in the Rose Bowl against Ohio in 1997. After
graduating from Arizona State with a MB in Business
Administration and a BS in Communications, Devin was selected
in the 1st round by the Scottish Claymores in the NFL European
draft in 1998. He currently lives and works as a regional sales
director for Zimmer Inc. in Denver CO.
Chad Tyson – 1993
Wrestling & Football
Chad Tyson played football and wrestled during his outstanding
athletic career at Mission. On the gridiron he was a ferocious
linebacker. When you saw Chad Tyson coming to hit you, there
was no doubt it was going to hurt. Chad was a 1st team all
MVAL selection in football his senior year. But, it was on the
wrestling mat where Chad shined most. During his four years on
the varsity team, Chad was a 3X time MVAL Champion and a 2X
North Coast Section Champion. At the 1993 CIF State Wrestling
Championships he placed 7th. He finished his wrestling career
with 275 career takedowns and won 12 varsity tournaments. He
had a career record of 125-30 and a senior year record of 40-4
which still stands as one of the best in the MSJ wrestling
record books. He currently lives in Livermore and is a general
superintendent for BALCH Construction Company.
Guy Martinez – 1978
Football / Baseball
Guy Martinez played on the 1978 MSJ football team under
legendary coach Jim Randall. That year they won the only North
Coast Section Football Championship the MVAL has ever had. Guy
played football at the varsity level all four years as an offensive
and defensive tackle. He was an all MVAL selection 4X (both ways
his junior and senior years). As a four year varsity baseball player
Guy was an all MVAL pitcher his senior year. His baseball career
continued at Ohlone College playing baseball and was selected
into the LA Dodgers draft pool but an injury cut his playing career
short. He returned to MSJ as a coach where he coached the
football and baseball teams. As the head baseball coach, he led
his team to a NCS Championship in 1986. Guy was selected as the
coach of the year for northern California that same year. Guy is
most proud of being a student-athlete who has won a NCS
Championship and for being a coach that has won a NCS
Championship.
Jonathan Stevens – 1998
Cross Country / Track & Field / Soccer
Jonathan Stevens was named as the 1998 Gatorade National High
School Boys Track & Field Athlete of the Year. That award capped
off what was probably one of the most storied cross country and
track & field careers in recent history. John was the 1998 800 and
1600 CIF State Track & Field Champion. In 1997 he was the 1600
CIF State Track & Field Champion and helped his team to a 2nd
place finish in the state meet. He also placed 5th in the XC CIF Dll
Championships 1997 which helped his team to a 5th place finish. In
1997 he helped the boy’s distance medley relay team to 3rd place
finish in the US. In 1998 he was named as the California State
Track & Field Athlete of the year. He then attended Stanford
University where his success continued to flourish. In 1999 he ran
on the distance medley relay team that ran in the NCAA
championships. At the 1999 U.S. Junior T&F championships, he
earned a berth on the U.S. Jr. Pan Am games and won the gold
medal with a time of 1:49.57 in the 800 meters. John is married
and lives in Fort Lauderdale Florida where he works as a CBS
Interactive Sr. Project Manager, Fantasy Sports.
Kevin Tan – 2000
Gymnastics
Kevin Tan attended Mission from 1996-2000 because there was no
boy’s gymnastics team, he trained at a local gymnastics gym and
was on the national gymnastics team. Kevin went on to the
Pennsylvania State University where he was a leader on their
gymnastics team. At Penn state he was a 6X All American. He
won the NCAA Team Championships his senior year and won
individual titles in the still rings, 2003 and 2004 becoming Penn
State’s first back to back NCAA champion. He also earned All
American honors on the parallel bars (2002) and high bar (2003).
After graduation he worked as an assistant coach of the PSU
gymnastic team. Kevin was a member of the 2005, 2006 and 2007
U.S. world team and was a 3X U.S. National champion on the still
rings which was his specialty. Kevin then made the US
Gymnastics Team for the 2008 Olympics and was made captain of
the team. He currently lives in Fremont with his wife and two year
old daughter.
