KIBOGA Kiboga District is located in the western part of the Central Region of Uganda and is made up of one county, 13 sub-counties and two town councils. Kiboga has a population of 319,600 of which 59 % has access to safe water. The access rates vary from 26 % in Nsambya Sub-County to 95 % in Kiboga TC and Mulagi Sub-County. The functionality rate in urban and rural areas is 88 % and 75 % respectively. RWHT, PSP) of which 46 have been non-functional for over 5 years and are considered abandoned. The main water supply technologies are the shallow well and deep borehole technologies.
