Introduction
To enable you to get as much as possible of the mangle, it is of utmost importance
that you read through this manual before using the device. Add extra importance
to safety. We also recommend that you keep this manual for future reference, to
remind your memory or inform new users regarding mangelns functions.
This manual describes both the Cold Mangel 600 and Cold Mangel 800.
What differentiates the machines is the width of the rolls. The images on the following pages is showing KM 600.

Safety instructions
Read the instructions carefully before use.
Familiarize yourself with the mangle
• Read all instructions and all warning labels on the device prior to use, to understand its use, limitations and potential risks.
Drugs, alcohol and medicine
• Never use the mangle when you are tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol
or medication.
Avoid hazardous uses
• Keep work area clean and well lighted. Cluttered areas increases the risk of damage.
• Do not expose the machine to rain.
Inspect mangle
• Check the mangle before each use. Protective devices must be in place and functioning properly. Make sure there are no objects that could cause damage to or
around the mangle. Replace damaged, missing or broken parts before use.

Safety instructions
Avoid electrocution
• Check that the mains voltage corresponds to 230 V 50 Hz and that the circuit is
correct fused and grounded.
• Mangle may only be connected to the earth circuit.
• Keep bystanders at a safe distance.
• Mangle may only be used by one person at a time. Everyone except the person
using mangle’ll be staying at a safe distance from the work area when the unit is
running.
Do not force mangle
• Mangle works better and safer with the load it is intended for.
• Do not use mangle for purposes other than its intended purpose.
• Observe the label for maximum load.
• At the mangling of thick material consideration rolling to avoid the risk of overloading the machine, the warranty does not apply when mangle used incorrectly.
Unplug
• Always mangle without power by unplugging the power cord before adjustment,
replacement of parts, cleaning or maintenance work on the mangle.
General risks
Use of mangle can cause the following hazards:
• Risks due to contact with moving parts.
These risks are greatest in the following cases:
• When working near the rollers.
• In the vicinity of moving parts.
Even if the device is used as directed, it is impossible to rule out all risk factors.
The following risks remain:
- Risk of injury when changing parts.

The person should use mangle must have:
• Adequate knowledge of and familiarity with the use, adjustment and operation
of the mangle.
The following general conditions must also be met:
• mangle should understatement stand on a horizontal surface and the area aroundmachine shall be horizontal, well cohesive and free of loose objects.
• Adequate lighting shall be provided either as general lighting orspot lighting of
the workplace itself.
• Never work with your hands close to the rollers.
Depending on the working conditions, this may include:

Turn off the machine before it is left unattended.
Report any defects in the machine, including the failure of protection, as soon as
you discover them.
Apply safe procedures for cleaning and maintenance. Remove dust regularly to
reduce the risk of fire.
Never exceed the maximum load indicated on the machine.
Ensure that all guards and other safety devices are in place, it works flawlessly and
is in good condition.
IMPORTANT!
If the machine is connected to a weak grid can temporally voltage drops occur when
the machine is started.
This may affect other connected electrical equipment - lighting, for example, blinking
or goes out briefly. You may need to contact your electricity supplier for details.

If any of the warning stickers on the machine will be damaged or lost must be
replaced.
Contact the vendor for order.

Installation
The mangle should be placed on a flat, horizontal surface. Ensure that the device is not
in danger of slipping on the surface.
When mangle mounted on the mounting accessories are described in the manual supplied with the accessory.
The electrical connection plugged into grounded outlet (230 V / 50 Hz min 10 A).
Before first use
Make sure that all packing and transit stickers are removed.
Check that mangle is stable and not likely to drift off during operation.
Test drive the mangle without load first to get to know the unit’s functions.

Exposing the rollers by lifting the operating rod upward.
Pull mangle cloth about 1/2 meters.
Dampen the fabric lightly with a spray bottle (not included).
Place the fabric cloth finishing fabric, the fabric needs bay to fit.
Lower operating rod operation.
Set the finger guard in the operating mode and control up texting on the
way into the mangle to avoid wrinkling.
7. Let mangle walk a few yards. A certain sound when the rollers go over
the fabric edge, this is quite normal. Mangel roller gets increased pressure from textile edge, hence the sound.
8. Stay mangle with finger guard and lift the actuator rod so that the fabric
can be output.
The following steps are visualized in the following pages.
Never mangle garment with zippers, buttons o., Etc.,
The mangle and garments can be damaged.
If mangle exhibit noise or seems overloaded immediately switch it off!

Dampen the fabric lightly with a spray bottle (not included).
Place the fabric table just in front of rollers, if necessary, fold the fabric to fit.
Lower operating rod operation.
Set the finger guard in the operating mode and control up texting on the
way into the mangle to avoid wrinkling.
Let the fabric is rolled by mangle and come out the back of it.
Stop the mangle with finger guard.
Thick and long duvets and blankets should be rolled a few times before mangling.

Make sure to mangle is disconnected from the mains.
Exposing the rollers by lifting the operating rod upward.
Unroll mangle the screen so that the groove becomes accessible.
Remove the rubber top of the groove in the roller.
Pull mangle cloth out of the groove.
Move over plastic thread from the old mangle cloth to the new.
Thread mangle cloth in the slot and refit the rubber top.
Test run the mangle to check that the cloth is mounted properly.
Replacing mangle cloth
Pull out the old cloth.
Insert the new cloth.

Maintenance
Never let the goods remain on the rolls for longer times when the mangle not in use.
Then mangling is done check if mangle cloth is damp, if so let it hang unwound and
dry before it is wound onto the drum to avoid damage to mangle cloth.
All bearings in the mangle is self-lubricating and require no maintenance during
mangle design life.
For service, contact your dealer, please remember to bring your receipt.
Before calling for service, check the following:
• the plug is connected.
• the group fuse (plug) into the distribution box is intact.
• that the finger guard is in the starting position.
• the operating handle is firmly pressed.

Values are the actual measured sound levels, which is not necessarily safe to work in.
While there is a correlation between the measured sound level and noise exposure,
but this can not be used to determine with certainty whether additional precautions are
required.
Several other factors affect the noise exposure in each case, for example, working
acoustics and any other noise sources, such as additional equipment or processes, in
the premises. The permissible noise limits may vary between different countries.
By considering the above information, the user can easily assess the situation and the
risks it entails.

center.

Components excluded from the warranty are:
