Emily Keener is a young blend of Patty Griffin
and Alison Krauss. At twelve years old, her soulful
lyrics are beautifully poignant, well beyond her
years. In an age of endless pop love songs, her
earthy approach is like lemonade on a hot
summer’s day.

She plays her dad’s old-six string acoustic guitar
with a folksy, nostalgic groove, blue-sy chords
and finger-picking riffs. Throwing in some piano
based songs, and she can fill a room with her
unique style.
