LAGOON – C’EST LA VIE
Created in 1984, Lagoon belongs to the CNB division of BENETEAU Group and offers a
complete range from 38' to 62' catamarans; all designed by the famous architects Marc Van
Peteghem and Vincent Lauriot Prévost (VPLP).
The Lagoon range is regularly improved and renewed in consideration of customers’ needs
and expectations, as well as of new developments in naval architecture and the pleasure
boat industry. Volume, comfort, ease of handling and sailing performance are the key words
for all Lagoon models. More than 2,150 Lagoons were launched all over the world: this
figure makes our brand the unrivalled leader in the cruising catamaran sector.

LAGOON CUSTOM – A NATURAL BUT EXCEPTIONAL FILIATION
Lagoon, the world’s largest builder of cruising catamaran, has had its “large” models (50” and
over) built at CNB since 1999. It thus seemed only natural to turn towards the internationally
respect Superyacht – CNB to develop a “CUSTOM” Lagoon branch for those sailors who
dream of a truly unique catamarans, even more luxurious and built according to their
expectation.
The world’s most famous names in naval architecture became associated with CNB to build
dream yachts that often won prestigious international awards: We are thus very proud to
present some exclusive sailing and power custom catamaran projects to you, imagined for
Lagoon by some of the world’s most respected yacht designers: VPLP (Van Preteghem –
Lauriot Prevost), Philippe Briand, Bill Dixon, Morrelli & Melvin (for Aeroyacht) and

The authentically Italian brand Monte Carlo Yachts, entrusted by the World Leader French
Group Beneteau, is developing a new range of luxury open and flybridge motor boats with
lengths over 60 feet.
Created at the end of 2008 in Monfalcone which is in the gulf of Trieste, Italy, Monte Carlo

PROMOTION OF THE SAILING CULTURE IN CHINA
China Cup International Regatta
Since 2007 Beneteau is the Global Strategic Partner for China Cup International Regatta, the
biggest international sailing event in China. During every edition of China Cup in October and
November, 30 Beneteau First 40.7 are competing in a one-design class between Hong Kong
and Shenzhen, with Chinese and International teams on board. Beneteau together with the
China Cup International Regatta management devoted to enhance the popularization of
sailing culture in China. In the 2011 edition, more than 30 Chinese teams participated and
one Chinese team won the first-ever championship.
Qingdao International Sailing Week
Beneteau has been selected to be the Official Partner for Qingdao International Sailing Week.
This new powerful sailing event takes place in Qingdao every year with a one-design fleet of
10 First 40.

SENSE 55 – Live the magic of the sea with a panoramic view
15 months ago, the coming of the new SenSe range gave rise to a small revolution in the
world of cruising monohulls. Its success widely exceeded all expectations and the creation
of the SenSe (55’), shown at the Nautic Boat Show in Paris 2011, promises to satisfy the
appetites of those who look enviously at Super Yachts. This new dream cruiser provides an
astonishing variety of the attributes you would find on the large 100’ luxury yachts built by
CNB, a subsidiary of the Beneteau group.
The SenSe concept marks a new era in lifestyle at sea. The new SenSe (55’) has reached new
maturity and has become even more relevant. The opening up of the interior and exterior
spaces, new access to the sea, overall organization of the boat into subtlety linked but
independent living areas, hull reducing the heel angle providing seakeeping second to none,
all makes good SenSe, as does the increase in size.

We find three living spaces, which, from stern to bow, combine privacy and the pleasure of
living together, with a balance close to perfection for a 16m yacht.
Forward, the night space accommodates bedrooms and shower rooms. The owner cabin
offers benefits belonging to the world of luxury
yachts, with its shower room worthy of a fine
apartment, private office, many practical
storage places, and a spacious and open floor
area. The lacquered wood finish and indirect
lighting will appeal to even the most
demanding owners.
For guests, the SenSe (55’) accommodation is
just as luxurious with two twin-cabins fitted
out like private suites: entry by a large sliding door, access to the bed from the front and
sides, private toilet.
The rear spaces, totally dedicated to the pleasure of sharing the best, resemble reception

Luxury is also being able to choose. The SenSe (55’) offers the owner a choice of finish, such
as upholstering certain items of furniture in leather, choosing a high-gloss finish for the floor
or a carpet particularly soft to the touch. It can also be through the personalization of the

handling – low water resistance and more efficient engine drive – the Dock & Go on this
boat provides extra comfort: Moving along more silently and reducing vibrations.

1. A controller synchronises a
pivoting saildrive base (180°) and
a bowthruster.
2. Manoeuvres are carried out with
the aid of a cross-shaped Joystick
at the helm position: moving 90°
to port or starboard, forward,
astern and turning on the spot.
3. Going astern is achieved by
pivoting the saildrive with no loss
of power.
4. The helm is automatically locked
whilst the joystick is in use.
5. Saildrive rotation is achieved in
half a second by an electric
motor.

The 2012 Lagoon 620: an exceptional vintage - Art of living
The new 2012 version of the Lagoon 620 is an even more luxurious and comfortable boat,
thanks to the talents of the Nauta Design office, which has entirely reworked the internal
fit-out of this flagship sailing yacht.
In the dining room, the banquettes have been entirely redesigned, as has the ceiling,
enabling more effective indirect lighting, and it now includes the option of installing
adjustable blinds on all the wide vertical windows.
As for the hulls, there are a number of developments here too: on the port side, the central
double-bed cabin is now accessible exclusively via the gangway, rendering it totally separate
from the rear side galley.
On the starboard side,
the master suite has also been modified, with a washroom now placed on either side of the
cockpit access stairs, making room for a large cupboard space in the bedroom. The front
starboard cabin also benefits from this change due to the volume freed up by the
repositioning of the master washroom towards the rear: private companionway entrance,
larger and better laid-out desk and additional storage room…a real VIP cabin!
Whether in its 4, 5 or 6 cabin version, the Lagoon 620 is now offered with new Ambiances
created by Nauta for the “large” Lagoons: complete interior layout packages elegantly
incorporating wood finish, upholstery, inner liners, and more…
More than just a new version, the 2012 Lagoon 620 is almost a new model.

Plenty of positive omens accompany the imminent debut of the new Monte Carlo Yachts
model, starting with the seven awards that crowned the Monte Carlo Yachts 76 as the boat
of the year.
The Monte Carlo Yachts 65 is born under a lucky star: with this boat Monte Carlo Yachts
reaffirms the concept and strengths of the Monte Carlo Yachts 76.
The shape of the Monte Carlo Yachts collection begins to emerge with a new 65-footer. The
new model – second, but only in order of appearance –presented in preview at the Cannes
International Boat Show in early September 2011 and holds all the cards to win the favour of
both customers and critics. And it definitely won’t disappoint the many admirers of the
model that preceded it: Monte Carlo Yachts has succeeded in offering the original design
elements and the numerous innovations that ensured the success of the Monte Carlo Yachts
76 on the Monte Carlo Yachts 65 as well.

The aesthetic research carried out by two superstars of design like Carlo Nuvolari and Dan
Lenard endows the boat with a timeless, immediately recognisable style and gives it a very
naval allure, with classic elements that are skilfully reinterpreted in a modern key. The result
is a design that is avant-garde but not extreme, reassuring and at the same time highly
innovative. We can finally say it: it’s the style of the Monte Carlo Yachts brand. A style that
emerges in the overall lines of the boat as well as in its details. In its profile, for example, so
characteristic thanks to the high, flared bow, without a pulpit. But also in the portholes: an
original sign, almost a label that is created by the reinterpretation of the classic bull’s eye.
Elegance and functionality blend together, just like the design and technical solutions. And
from this point of view the new model confirms all the appealing elements introduced last
season by the Monte Carlo Yachts 76. The Portuguese deck forward, the radar mast to
support the all-carbon T-top of the fly bridge, the splendid glass supports that protect the
lateral walkways up to the side entrance to the saloon: 20 metres of length that give the
impression of being aboard a mega yacht.
