Ham United International Academy National Camp to act for me according to their best judgement in an emergency requiring medical
attention. I hereby waive and release West Ham United Football Academy USA Inc., West Ham United Football Club and the West Ham
United International Academy. I know of no mental or physical problems which may affect my child’s ability to safely participate in this

The Camp will be under the Direction of legendary West
Ham United Academy Director Tony Carr. He will be assisted by Assistant Academy Director, Paul Heffer and
West Ham United Ladies Head Coach, Tony Marshall.

HOW DO I REGISTER AND PAY?
The 2010 National Camp is being hosted by International Academy Partner Club Northern Virginia
Royals/Majestics.

WILL I RECEIVE CONFIRMATION?
Tony Carr is one of the most influential figures in English
football. It is not just that seven of the England squad likely
to travel to the 2010 FIFA World Cup have come under his
guidance - Glen Johnson, John Terry, Rio Ferdinand, Frank
Lampard, Michael Carrick, Joe Cole and Jermain Defoe - but
because he is committed to the grassroots of the game.
DOES EACH CAMPER NEED TO HAVE MEDICAL INSURANCE?
For four decades he has given back to the sport after seeing
his own playing dreams dashed by injury and he has created
an outstanding legacy.
Yes, you will receive confirmation via email.
Yes, campers are required to have their own medical insurance. There
will be at least one medical trainer in attendance for the full duration
of the camp.
WHAT TIME IS ARRIVAL AND FINISH?
Check in will be at the host hotel between 12pm and 1.30pm (please
note lunch will not be provided on day 1). Camp will end at 11.30am
on the last day.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
Former West Ham United CEO Scott Duxbury paid tribute to
Carr's terrific achievement and his ongoing commitment to
finding the Hammers greats of the future. He said:
Campers should bring toiletries, tennis shoes, cleats, daily training
clothes, swim suit and all other soccer related equipment. Each player
will receive an International Academy ball and t-shirt.
"Tony has helped establish West Ham United as a club committed to producing young talent that can rise all the way
through the ranks to our first team. It is also not just about
furthering their football ability on the pitch but also the way
he and his staff help prepare the players to be the best they
can be - at whatever level they may ultimately reach."
Commuters will receive lunch and dinner. A daily schedule detailing
where and when to drop off/pick up commuters will be handed out at
registration.
WHAT MEALS ARE PROVIDED FOR COMMUTERS?
IS THERE TRANSPORTATION TO THE HOTEL?
There is a $20 charge for all airport pickups/drop offs for either
Washington Dulles, Reagan or Baltimore airports. Please indicate when
registering.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE TO CANCEL REGISTRATION?
There is a $100 cancellation fee. All cancellations must be in writing.
NO REFUNDS after July 1, 2010. NO REFUNDS will be given to campers
who leave camp voluntarily or are removed for disciplinary reasons.
HOW WILL I KNOW IF MY SON/DAUGHTER HAS BEEN SELECTED TO
TRAVEL TO ENGLAND FOR THE ACADEMY EXPERIENCE?
All players will receive an individual evaluation mailed to them within
3 weeks of the end of camp. A number of players will be invited to
train at the West Ham United Academy in London in 2011. The selection of these players will be based on the judgement of the West Ham
United Academy coaches.
Players will be under 24 hour supervision and will
stay at the Comfort Inn, Dumfries, VA. Parents are
welcome to make their own reservations at the
hotel.
