Our GeniSoft pH Neutralizer is an all-natural, chemical free way to raise the pH levels in
your water while being environmentally friendly. If the pH level in your water is too low or
too high, it could damage your pipes, cause heavy metals like lead to leak out of the pipes
and into the water that you, your family and guests consume on a daily basis. You could
also face other problems as costly appliance replacement, such as dishwashers, washing
machines, hot water heaters as well as all of the fixtures in your home. The GeniSoft pH
Neutralizer uses an effective mixture of Calcite and Corosex medias. When your water
comes into contact with the Calcite/Corosex mixture, acidic waters slowly dissolve the
calcium carbonate media to raise the pH which reduces the potential leaching of copper,
lead and other metals found in typical plumbing systems. As the Calcite/Corosex mixture
neutralizes the water, it will increase the hardness and a softener may become necessary
after the neutralizing filter. Depending on pH, water chemistry and service flow, the media
bed mixture will have to be periodically replenished as the Calcite/Corosex is depleted.
