1989 WorldMark by Wyndham (formerly Trendwest Resorts) records its first sale in Kirkland, Wash.
WorldMark, The Club (formerly Club Esprit) offers a limited product line in Oregon.
1993WorldMark by Wyndham launches an in-house travel agency.
1994WorldMark by Wyndham closes its fifth year in operation with 661 vacation condominium-style
units at 13 resorts.
1995WorldMark by Wyndham unveils the Confirm First option, which enables WorldMark owners
to confirm an RCI exchange before credits are deducted from their account.
1996WorldMark, The Club launches WorldMarktheClub.com.
1997WorldMark by Wyndham goes public on the NASDAQ.
1998The first Cruise for Credits program offering sells out in 48 hours.
2000WorldMark by Wyndham creates Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific (formerly Trendwest
South Pacific) and begins to span the globe with the launch of WorldMark South Pacific Club with
resorts in Australia. WorldMark welcomes its 100,000th owner to the WorldMark, The Club family.
2002Cendant Corporation purchases WorldMark by Wyndham, which subsequently becomes a part of
Cendant Timeshare Resort Group, alongside Wyndham Vacation Resorts (then Fairfield Resorts).
Online reservations booking capability becomes available to owners.
2004WorldMark by Wyndham celebrates its 15th anniversary with 56 resort properties and more than
4,000 condominium-style units stretching across four countries.
2006Cendant Corporation spins off into four separate, publicly traded companies, creating Wyndham
Worldwide (NYSE: WYN). WorldMark by Wyndham, Wyndham Vacation Resorts and Wyndham
Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific become part of Wyndham Worldwide.
WorldMark by Wyndham unveils TravelShare® — an exclusive membership program available to
North American WorldMark owners.
2009WorldMark by Wyndham celebrates its 20th anniversary with more than 70 resorts and 5,500
condominium-style units.
