The requirements before use

Firstly,
please check whether your Smartphone has “MHL” Spec.
MHL = Multimedia High Definition Link.
Also, the OS version needs to be “4.1.* and up to date”

If you are using Samsung Galaxy S3 , S4,
Please purchase Samsung 11pin to 5pin MHL Adapter.

Why we need Kenwood Smartphone Control App?

Screen Calibration.
Android Smartphone have various screen size (4inch, 5inch, etc)
and this app automatically detects your Smartphone’s screen size,
and let Kenwood receiver synchronize with your Smartphone.

Keep the screen “Horizontal”.
When you launch Navigation apps like Waze or Google-maps,
this app automatically fixes / keeps the app screen as horizontal.
