General Information The 2015 INS Meeting will be held in Collioure, a small French town on the
Mediterranean coast just 26 kilometers north of the border to Spain. Collioure was a
small fishing village that evolved into a trading port in the 7th century. Its historical
sites, in particular its castle, testify to a rich historical and cultural heritage.
Collioure has several beaches. Its climate is very pleasant in June, with an average
temperature of 260C (790F)

Meeting Venue
The meeting venue is the "Centre Culturel de Collioure". It is located just off the site
of the weekly market and within a short walking distance of most hotels and the seafront. The sessions will be held in the auditorium, which seats 200 individuals. Coffee
breaks will take place in front of the "Centre Culturel".

By plane
The nearest airport is in Perpignan-Rivesaltes (25 km from Collioure). There is a
shuttle service from the airport to the Perpignan train station, where trains depart to
Collioure every hour from 6 am until 9.30 pm (6.10 €). It takes 20 minutes to reach
Collioure by train and in Collioure the train station is within walking distance of many
hotels. Taxi services to Collioure are also available (about 50 €).
Montpellier-Méditerranée airport is larger with more direct international connections
(also with Easyjet and Rynair) and lies 7 km southeast of Montpellier. There is a
shuttle service from the airport to the Place de l’Europe in the center of Montpellier
(Ligne 120; 1.50 €). The train station Montpellier Saint Roch with direct connections
to Collioure is reached by taking the tramway Ligne 1 from the Place de l’Europe.
Trains to Collioure depart every hour from 6 am until 8 pm (30.40 €); it takes a little
more than two hours.
Other possibilities: Barcelona-El Prat airport or Girona airport (north of Barcelona);
from both airports there are train services to Collioure (see below).
By train
Collioure can be reached daily from many cities with high-speed trains (TGV): Paris
(4 TGVs daily), Lyon (3 TGVs daily, Marseille (1 TGV daily), Strassbourg (2 TGVs
daily), Lille (2 TGVs daily), Toulouse, Geneva, Brussels, Barcelona (2 TGVs daily).

By car
Motorway A9: (1) coming from the north, exit Perpignan Sud, then D914 to Argelèssur-mer and Collioure, (2) coming from the south, exit Le Boulou, then D618 and
near Argelès-sur-mer D914 to Collioure.

Collioure is a small town with charming narrow streets, many historic and cultural
sites of interest and a scenic coast. It is thus not surprising that it enjoys considerable
tourist attraction during the summer months. However, its fair number of hotels offer
a comparatively small number of rooms. To have a sufficient number of rooms
available for attendees of the INS 2015 Meeting, rooms have been block booked until
March 31, 2015 in the hotels listed below.
Room reservations must be made directly with the hotel, indicating that you are an
INS 2015 attendee. Please use e-mail (or telephone) to make room reservations; for
the week of the INS 2015, making a room reservation is generally not available on
the website due to our block booking. Most rooms have internet access (wifi & cable).
Note that there is a tax of 1 € / day per person.

The registration fee for Symposium participants includes rental of the meeting room
and audio-visual equipment, the coffee breaks, the excursion on Thursday afternoon
and the dinner on Thursday evening.

IMPORTANT (in particular for transfers from currencies other than €): the 240 € (or
260 € in case of late registration) should be the net amount transferred. Thus, the
costs of the transfer should be at the sender’s expense.

Cancellation policy: 95% of the paid registration fee will be returned in case of cancellation
before June 1st; 75% of the paid fee will be returned if the cancellation is made between June
2nd and June 21st. In case of no-show without prior cancellation, no refund will be made.
Please allow until July 15th for returns to be effective.

Thursday, June 25, afternoon: Two possibilities are being examined:
(1) Excursion to Cadaques, a small attractive town across the border to Spain and
situated on the rocky coast of the Cap de Creus peninsula. During the first decades
of the 20th century the town became a European cultural center for artists, with
Salvador Dali establishing his home here.
(2) Half-day boat excursion with wildlife observation (Parc Naturel Marin du Golfe du
Lion; officially created in 2011).
Friday, June 26: Social dinner in Collioure
The welcome drink, excursion and dinner are included in the Registration Fee.
For accompanying persons, the prices are:
Excursion: 40€
Social dinner: 60€
These costs will be collected during the meeting.
