(Omega), an ASRC Energy Services Gulf Coast subsidiary, is a full service provider for the global energy, refining, chemical, power, utility, and manufacturing industries. We provide an array of services that allow our customers to incorporate all phases of a project in one location. Omega is comprised of construction and technical divisions. Our 90,000 sq. ft. facility includes: 12,500 sq. ft. fabrication shop, with two 10-ton cranes and 22 ft. hook height 5,000 sq. ft. fabrication shop with two 5-ton cranes and 20 ft. hook height 24,000 sq. ft. ASME coded/pipe fabrication shop with three 10-ton cranes 3,600 sq. ft. warehouse 1,700 sq. ft. tool room/warehouse 9,000 sq. ft. climate-controlled panel manufacturing and fire safety shop New CNC robotic pipe, plate and beam processing shops Company and customer office space We have 50 acres of assembly, storage, and staging area. The main assembly area is located directly in front of the open cell bulkhead at the end of the main slip. It has a limestone based foundation capable of supporting modules and decks in excess of 10,000 tons (depending on the point loading of the module or deck supports). The remainder of the assembly areas are sand and clay based and are used to accommodate modules and decks ranging from 200 to 3,000 tons. Dock - 4,000 ft. waterfront Load out capacity: 180 ft. state-of-the-art open cell bulkhead with capacity to load out in excess of 6,000 tons. The dock has an additional 500 ft. cantilever bulkhead with capacity to load out up to 1,200 tons, and a waterfront loadout capacity of 2,500 tons. The main bulkhead has 27 ft. of freeboard from top of bulkhead to mudline, with an average water depth of 20 ft. Average water depth through the Intercoastal Waterway: 13 ft. Average water depth through Vermilion Bay: 8-10 ft. Largest barge that has used the dock: 100 ft. x 400 ft. x 25 ft. Largest item loaded or unloaded: 140 ft. x 80 ft., weighing 4,000 tons Rail access is located approximately 1-1 ½ miles from the facility on paved state roads. Omega has an annual capacity of approximately 1,100,000 man-hours. These services include module construction, production platforms, and subsea fabrication for domestic and international locations. Our natural gas testing facility test runs the largest turbine packages. We fabricate various skid mounted packages for offshore platforms and deck subsystems. This elite industry designation recognizes our commitment to high standards and top performance. Authorized to make national board code repairs and alterations, Omega fabricates tanks and pressure vessels of larger diameters and wall thicknesses. We also specialize in offshore and onshore vessel repairs and alterations, and coordinate total confined space operations with certified in-house personnel. Omega is recognized for providing superior offshore and offsite construction and maintenance services for the complete project cycle. Our location offers convenient waterway access for the Gulf of Mexico, the Gulf Coast, and domestic and international deliveries. Crosstrained personnel have expertise in electrical, mechanical, and welding services and are able to provide immediate support on platforms or in plant environments. We develop applications using process control systems, Emergency Shut Down systems (ESD), measurement systems, hurricane evacuation and remote operations, and Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems for various industries. The group consists of nationally certified professionals who design, install, and service the following systems: • Clean agent gaseous fire suppression • Fire and gas detection • Fine water mist fire suppression • Foam fire suppression • Navigational aids • Paging and alarm • Hand portable fire extinguisher service We also inspect fire detection and suppression systems, life saving equipment, navigational aids, and fire extinguishing and fighting equipment. The group repairs, rents, and resells portable and semi portable fire extinguishers, life floats, lifesaving equipment, self retracting lifelines, portable gas detection instruments, firefighting equipment, breathing air equipment (confined space, H2S, etc.), and provides trained fire watch and safety technicians. Panel Manufac turing Omega’s panel manufacturing group is UL 508 certified and employs experienced technicians who assemble, wire, test, and install electronic control panels in the configuration best suited to a customer’s control and monitoring system needs.
