MADISON GENESIS RIDE NEW ZERO FRAME AT TOB
Genesis is proud to announce the release of the new carbon Zero frame which was debuted by the Madison Genesis (UCI Continental) road team at the Tour of Britain in Wales in
September.
After a ground-breaking 2014, Genesis has launched its new frame in a range that consists of three complete bikes and two framesets. Of the complete sets, the range is made up
of the Zero Z.1 at £1,799.99, the Zero Z.2 at £2,099.99 and the top-of-the-range Zero Z.i at £2,999.99. In addition, the Zero framesets will be available in Madison Genesis team
replica colours or raw carbon/black for £1,099.99.
Whilst the frame is visually identical to last years’ model, Genesis have employed a higher grade 30/40-ton high-modulus uni-directional carbon to drop approximately 120 grams
from last years’ model. This means that the bike is now comfortably sub-1kg for a size medium with all hardware (960g). Even with such a substantial weight-saving the frame remains
robust and durable. Genesis has also stuck to the principle of offering the same frame quality throughout the range which means even entry level models are the same spec as the
team edition.
The forks on the frame however have vastly slimmed-down, tapered fork legs with a truncated aero profile to drop weight down by 90 grams and improve comfort. This years’ model
uses the same crown profile as 2014 that blends with the dropped downtube so can be retro-fitted to last years’ frame should one desire.

Genesis prides itself on making quality, British-designed bikes and have invested heavily in its own moulds to ensure Zero meets high design standards by having complete control
from design, through testing and ultimately throughout the manufacturing process. Zero also comes with a lifetime warranty and will be available from October 2015.

She showed the same grit again, putting together a great run, riding on the limit in
Andorra and taking on the toughest track of the year.
NO CARBON(ITE) FOR HAN
Someone’s lucky they’re sample frame size! After a recent mishap, Han-S..., erm,
Mr. Ford was in need of a replacement frame for his much-loved Croix de Fer and
we were only too happy to oblige. Thanks to Jay @ Helen’s Cycles for the snap and
for getting him back on the road.
Are we too late to re-name the colour “C-3PO gold”?!
In the men’s race Sam Dale found the speed he had been looking for since the
second round of the season, somehow holding it together even when the ruts looked
to show no mercy. Despite getting wild he held on to finish 16th.
Matt Simmonds had a great top section, but lost time in the last split and finished
22nd on the day.
We want to thank everyone for their support this season and we’ll be back to battle
for the world title again in 2016!

We are pleased to reveal details on the stunning, all-new Myst Carbon Race bike.
The impressive Carbon Myst has made several key performance improvements from its predecessor and Saracen has developed a bike capable of winning races at the highest level.
Following another successful season as part of the Madison Saracen Factory Race Team, the new Carbon Myst is lighter with a lower centre of gravity, yet has retained its durability.
Built from a mixture of Toray 24T/30T UD carbon with 3K reinforcement in strategic areas of the downtube we have saved 560 grams on the existing alloy front triangle. The design
team have incorporated the ability to fine-tune the front-centre -/+5mm with its custom headtube and headsets and following another stellar race season, the rear brake hose routing
has also been updated to run internally through the seatstay.
UD carbon links save 110 grams over the original CNC machined alloy linkages and the shock cradle has also been relocated to the downtube to lower the centre of gravity and
improve standover – no small feat as it needs to accommodate the next generation of air shocks featuring large volume air cans.
Additionally, integrated fork bump-stops help clean up the front end of the bike and house the cable ports for the rear brake hose and rear derailleur cable.
Production bikes will be available to buy winter 2015 for £4,999.

tyres, show the designers know what they’re doing.”
The RL Disc is our brand new do it all machine. Wet weather road bike, rugged
commuter or weekend adventure steed, versatility is the word when it comes to the
RL Disc. Based around the same tube shapes and similar geometry to the standard
RL, the RL Disc has clearance for up to 42c tyres, meaning you can fit road,
trekking or CX rubber. We’ve also included rack and mudguard eyelets on the
frame along with hidden mudguard eyelets on the inside of the full carbon fork.
Specified with full Shimano drivetrains, gear shifting is light and precise. The use
of TRP disc brakes with a 160mm front rotor and 140mm rear ensure that braking
performance is high in all weather conditions.
It certainly seems to be having the desired effect with anyone who’s slung a leg over
one of the samples. Roll on the stock delivery!
