ULTRA-LIGHT TRAVEL TRAILERS
Hello Happier Campers!
I first fell in love with classic trailers early on, watching my father
carefully restore these campers in our own backyard. A few years
ago, I borrowed a fiberglass trailer from him and I fell in love all over
again. I started taking the trailer out on weekends and visiting parts
of California that I never knew existed. I was amazed at how
comfortable, easy and efficient the trailer was, and that there were
so many places where I could just pull it in, set up camp, and wake up
to a beautiful sunrise. As my bond with the little trailer grew, I started
restoring other vintage trailers and soon found myself with a
driveway full of these egg-shaped campers. Happier Camper is the
result of this; a start-up venture renting new and restored vintage
ultra-light trailers with an emphasis on camper-friendly design,
utility, flexibility and above all, fun!
It’s been a few years since we began working on the HC1, our first
production trailer. This unique trailer is inspired by classic design
but packed with modern functionality. Through our rental business,
we spent years reconditioning vintage trailers and taking note of the
features that made them great. By adopting the best parts and
adding a few new ideas of our own, we’ve designed and built what we
think is a distinct and remarkably useful travel trailer. We’ve come a
long way and are thrilled to share the results with you.

Our Adaptiv™ modular interior system is designed to allow you to easily reconfigure the interior of the trailer hundreds of
ways, with several sleeping arrangements (up to 5), storage, utility, and flexibility. Consisting of six base components or
cubes, the Adaptiv™ system is unique in its ability to easily and conveniently change a small space into whatever
configuration you may need. A variety of bed sizes, countertops, tables, and storage can be put together in nearly limitless
ways to quickly build your ideal compact space, a standard camper that can comfortably sleep a family of four complete with
kitchenette, dining table, and storage or just one big bed to jump around on. A mobile office, a sales space, a completely
empty "mini-toy hauler" capable of hauling larger gear — let your imagination free with limitless possibilities in a finite space.
Many of our modular components perform double-duty as indoor/outdoor furniture. Take the cubes outside to use for sitting,
storage, or washing. The rugged materials will stand up to the elements and provide the ultimate in camping convenience.

We've mounted this simple and light frame
beneath the left tail light to provide plenty of

This deep cycle AGM battery is high-powered
and long-lasting, mounted securely into the
front storage space. Charges via solar panels or
A/C power as you drive.
LED TEARDROP REAR SIDE MARKERS
Extra-bright, the LED side markers on the
HC1 looks fantastic. For the off-roader, these
lights can be mounted in an alternative
location.
MIGHTY MINI CONVERTER/CHARGER
The Mighty Mini is a powerful converter,
serving as a "breaker box" for the HC1's
AC/DC fuses, and charges the battery
efficiently.
EXTRA-BRIGHT LED FRONT MARKERS
Small but bright, this single LED provides
clarity and safety. Features a chrome bezel.

There are several A/C and D/C power sources
located throughout the HC1. Plug in and

The HC1 is constructed from double-hull
insulated fiberglass. This makes the trailer
incredibly strong, light, water and weather
tight.
Our hinges are custom-made from
hardened aluminum and feature the
Happier Camper logo. They’re built to last
the lifetime of the trailer.
There are several storage areas molded into
the body of the HC1. Upper cabinets are
finished with custom-cut "light Ply" doors
with European hinges.
ALL hardware, hinges, nuts and bolts are
made from the best materials, and are
designed to last the lifetime of the trailer.

ALL HC1s have standard electronic brakes,
and 13” alloy trailer wheels.
We built the floor of the HC1 to be
strong and to last. It’s made from 1.5”
thick honeycomb fiberglass. Washes easily
with a garden hose!
BUILT-IN REAR STABILIZING JACKS
The rear jacks are mounted directly to the
frame and create a simple and sturdy tripod
for the trailer to stand on.

5 recessed sturdy and simple-to-use base
mounts are placed in optimal places on our
dynamic floor.
RECESSED D-RING TIE DOWNS
The D-rings are built with large bolts that
are installed right into the floor. They’re
strong enough to tie down a motorcycle or
outdoor gear.

We added a modern 7-pin wiring harness to
the HC1, a wonderful, high-tech mechanism

SWIVEL-BACK TONGUE
The HC1 swivel-back tongue is designed to
fold back to save about 3’ of space, great for
fitting the HC1 into a garage or
trade show booth.
