Hidden in a lush, green valley in the quiet West of Madeira lies the comfortable holiday home 'Raposeira de São
João'. It is the perfect holiday home with spectacular views over the ocean, the woods and the hills of São João, near
Fajã da Ovelha, a village in the municipality of Calheta in the sunniest part of the island.
The stunningly restored typical Madeiran house is for rent the year round. The house is tastefully furbished with a
mix of contemporary design - mostly of Dutch origin - antiques and modern art.
The living room has two sofas and a comfortable armchair, a spacious dinner table with comfortable chairs.
The kitchen is contemporary and has all thinkable comfort like dishwasher, oven, microwave and a four-burner
ceramic cooker. Also there are a toaster, water cooker and a coffee machine. There is a large fridge-freezer. The
kitchen has a separate breakfast table and chairs.
On the first floor you will find two comfortable double bedrooms, each with ensuite facilities. (shower, washbasin
and toilet). Both rooms have splendid views over the ocean, the woods and the hills.
There are terraces on three sides of the house, with an outside dining table next to the kitchen and some light
furniture easy to move.
