engine overhaul! This modern renovation of an enduring classic warbird has

NX91AW is a 1955 North American T-28B Trojan. S/N 138356 "Buzz #" 753 It has 56 hours Hobbs, 16706 hours total time on airframe (TTAF), 56 hours since
Propeller IRAN & AD 81-13-06R2, and 56 hours since firewall forward. !
The Condition inspection is due Nov 2013 and ELT Battery Feb 2015. Pitot
Static Checks are due June 2014.

The 1,425hp Engine: A Curtiss Wright R1820-86B. S/N 520047. It has 56 hours since major overhaul
by Vintage Radials in April 2011. All new cylinder assemblies were installed.
New Gears and 2nd order balance assembly was installed. All accessories
were overhauled and all hoses replaced. The oil tanks and oil cooler were
overhauled. The engine mount was overhauled. New Lord mounts were
installed. All new hardware was used throughout. The baffle material is also
new. There is a new wiring harness from firewall forward. The exhaust system
was overhauled and coated. There are 8130's for all components. !
The Propeller:
A Hamilton Standard 43D50 "B" prop. S/N 196513 with 6951A-18 blades. April
2011 H&S Propeller complied with AD 81-13-06R2, next due April 2016.
Performed tear down, inspection, and repair as needed. !
Paint:
Aircraft was stripped and repainted Spring 2012 by Aircraft Refinishing Co. in
Paola, KS. All markings are correct and authentic for the last tour of duty in
VT-27 (Corpus Christi, TX).
