Radisson Plaza Hotel, 100 W. Michigan Avenue
4:00 – 7:00 pm
Volunteer Kalamazoo’s 9/11 Family Day of Service event offers
families the opportunity to come and volunteer in remembrance to
those lost and those who came out to serve after the 2001 attacks. The
event strives to create a space where families have the opportunity to
give back together in remembrance while learning about the different
nonprofits that offer family friendly volunteer opportunities.
Families will learn about different nonprofit agencies in Kalamazoo
while completing service projects that will make a difference in our
community. Police and military personnel, as well as Slappy from the
Kalamazoo Wings, will be at the event for families to take a commemorative photo with. Come join the fun!
