Reservoir
Main Reservoir (Carbonates) @ basement structural highs controlling hydrocarbon accumulations
Microbialites (Sag phase / Sin-Rifte/ sub-horizontal strata )
Macabu Fm (Campos basin); Barra Velha Fm (Santos basin)
Coquinas (Rifte)
Coqueiros Fm (Campos basin ) ; Itapema Fm (Santos basin)

“Pre-salt“
Reservoir – Main Technological Challenges
of exploitation
Large lateral and vertical variability n their Permo-porous properties (0 from
30%);
Permeabilities ranging from less than 0.1 to 1.000-5.000 mD;
Deep reservoirs located at a depth ultra deep water (in some cases with nearly
two thousand meters);
Presence of faults, fractures , vugs and caves (@ impacting drilling operations ,
cementing and completion of wells);
Intelligent wells completions (up to 3 intervals);
Uncertainty about efficiency in secondary recovery (water injection, gas or
alternating water and gas);
Presence of varying levels of contaminants ( H²S and CO2 ) in the fluid produced.
