Finn is very excited to be in A Christmas Sto ry because he has
actually been to the ho use where the mo vie was filmed! He lo ves
acting and has training in Shakespearean perfo rmance, impro v,
stage co mbat and playwriting. He played o ne o f Medea’s ill-fated
so ns in a recent Saint Lo uis University pro ductio n o f the play. Finn
lo ves ice cream, internatio nal travel, ho ckey, basketball and
fo o tball.
Charlie is very excited to be a cast member in this play. He has
alway's wanted to be in a play o r be an acto r. And Charlie thinks it
will be a really go o d experience. Charlie has never been in a play
except fo r a christmas play at his church (Which really isn't a big
pro ductio n). He wo uld like to thank his parents and o ther cast
members fo r wo rking with him. Charlie will lo ve this play.

Julia is thrilled to be cast in A Christmas Sto ry! She fo und her
passio n fo r perfo rming at New City Scho o l, where she spent the
last 8 years. While there Julia played many parts, mo st recently
Little Red in Into the Wo o ds. She wo uld like to thank her family fo r
their suppo rt, her bro thers fo r their enthusiastic attendance at her
sho ws, and her vo ice co ach, Tina, fo r always hearing the go o d in
her.
Ravi is very excited to be in the cast. He hasn't wo rked in the cast
befo re, but has wo rked in tech crew. He ho pes that yo u enjo y the
sho w.
Lillian Ebeling is ecstatic abo ut being in the play. This is her first
time being in the cast. Last year she was in co stume crew and
Crew D fo r The 39 Steps. When she's no t hanging o ut with friends,
she's riding ho rses o r reading o r drawing.

Jo sie is very excited to be in "A Christmas Sto ry" this year. She has
been in the co stume crew fo r "39 Steps", and has been in many
o ther pro ductio ns with Shrewsbury and The Meramec

Caro lyn has previo usly been in the cast o f "The 39 Steps" and is
excited to be able to do ano ther pro ductio n at WMS. She can't wait
to explo re the character Esther Jane Alberry and make her co me to
life o nstage.

Julia is thrilled to be part o f Wydo wn co mpany theatre's pro ductio n
o f, "A Christmas Sto ry" as an Elf/Desperado . This is her first time
being a part o f a Wydo wn pro ductio n, but no t her first play. Julia
Has taken part in 6 o ther plays befo re, and can't wait to make that
number a 7! Julia canno t wait to be a valued cast member o f, "A
Christmas Sto ry".

Wynne is super excited to be the teacher in a cast in A Christmas
Sto ry. Previo usly, she has been in Much Ado Abo ut Middle Scho o l,
The 39 Steps, and Shrek at Wydo wn. She also has been in several
pro ductio ns at COCA where she takes classes. And no w, please

Lilly is a sixth grade student at WMS and is very excited to be a part
o f A Christmas Sto ry. Last year, Lilly had her first acting ro le as the
"cat" in the Glenridge Fifth Grade Pro ductio n o f Pino cchio . Lilly
wo uld like to thank her mo m and family fo r their suppo rt and
enco uragement. She wo uld also like to thank her teachers, the
directo rs and crew fo r making this such a wo nderful experience.

Sam Ilivicky is very excited to be Ralphie in this years play "A
Christmas Sto ry". Sam has previo usly been in The 39 Steps,
Who dunnit, and Sherk. When Sam isn't rehearsing o r at scho o l, he
likes to hang with his friends, play spo rts, and enjo y music. He
wo uld like to thank his friends and family fo r all their suppo rt. Like
Ralphie, Sam has never o wned a BB gun and pro bably never will.
Adam is thrilled to play the ro le o f Flick in A Christmas Sto ry, his
third perfo rmance o n the Wydo wn stage. As a sixth grader, Adam
perfo rmed in The 39 Steps and Shrek the Musical. He lo o ks
fo rward to being part o f yet ano ther wo nderful pro ductio n. Adam
wo uld like to thank his friends and family fo r the guidance and
suppo rt that they give him and Mr. Engelmeyer fo r this wo nderful
o ppo rtunity.
Ben is excited to perfo rm in the Wydo wn Theatre Co mpany fo r the
first time, playing the ro le o f Schwartz. Ben has always wanted to
be in a sho w at Wydo wn and no w is his big break. Ben wo uld like to

Jamie is 12 years o ld and is a new 7th grader to WMS. She was
bo rn in Nashville and has lived in St. Lo uis fo r 7 years. Jamie has
participated in several pro ductio ns at New City Scho o l including:
The Jungle Bo o k, STOMP, and Into The Wo o ds. Jamie is lo o king
fo rward to this pro ductio n because mo st o f her experience has
been in musicals, and she is excited to participate in a co medy
such as this o ne.
Gaby Madriz
Gaby is thrilled to be in A Christmas Sto ry's cast this year. This is
Gaby's seco nd theatrical experience, her first being Captain
Elementary's seco nd grade fairytale theatre. This is her first
Wydo wn Theatre Co mpany pro ductio n. Gaby wo uld like to thank
her parents fo r their suppo rt, and her lucky lamp fo r acco mpanying
her to the auditio n. She ho pes yo u enjo y the sho w!

This is Jimmy's first Wydo wn Theatre Pro ductio n. He is thrilled to
be in A Christmas Sto ry and can't wait fo r yo u to watch! A special
thanks to Mr. Engelmeyer and the rest o f the adults co ntributing to
the play and to my family fo r helping me alo ng the way.

James is very excited to be part o f the Christmas Sto ry cast. James
ho pes that this play will be a great learning experience. He wo uld
like to give a special thanks to Mr Engelmeyer fo r intro ducing him
to Drama and inspiring him to try o ut . He wo uld also like to give a
special thanks to his parents fo r giving him tips, advice and suppo rt
thro ugho ut this experience.
Neema is very excited to be a part o f the pro ductio n. He has been
in two play pro ductio ns o ne being Peter Pan the o ther being the
Wizard o f Oz. In his free time he lo ves to play so ccer and read
co mics. He also lo ves anything to do with the Marvel Universe.

Siddhi was very invo lved in drama in Singapo re. She acted in her
scho o l pro ductio ns and wo n 2nd place in a natio nal Plain English
Speaking Co mpetitio n in 3rd grade. She had a ro le in a
co mmercially pro duced Peter Pan in 20 14 and participated in an
internatio nal sto ry telling event this year. She was accepted in
Scho o l o f The Arts Singapo re with scho larship befo re her recent
mo ve to St Lo uis.
Alexander is very exited to be in this pro ductio n. He has appeared
in Hairspray as the newscaster and he has appeared in o ther
sho ws like West Side Sto ry, Seussical the Musical, The very Last
Green Thing and Pagliacci. He has also been a 5-year member o f
the Saint Lo uis Children's Cho ir.
Daniel is very excited to take place in his first play at Wydo wn. His
is very excited to have the ro ll o f Santa and Blackbart. Daniel is
ho ping to have lo ts o f fun and get to kno w the entire cast.
Jake is excited abo ut his first appearance with Wydo wn Theatre
Co mpany. He tried o ut last year but did no t get a spo t so he was
thrilled to be in the cast this year. In additio n to acting, Jake enjo ys
biking, lo ng bo arding, playing baseball, and hanging o ut with
friends. Jake wo uld like to thank Mr. Engelmeyer, Mrs. Miller, Mr.
Kastner, and the entire cast and crew.

Charlie is very excited to be a part o f the A Christmas Sto ry
pro ductio n. He has been in the cast fo r the previo us sho ws
"Shrek", "39 Steps", as well as "Much Ado Abo ut Middle Scho o l".
He wo uld like to thank his parents fo r suppo rting and enco uraging
him thro ugho ut the entire duratio n o f this pro ductio n.

Lila Taylor
Lila is so excited to be a part o f "A Christmas Sto ry". This is her
last fall play at Wydo wn, and has lo ved co stuming Once On This
Island, The 39 Steps, and Shrek, but this is the first time she's been
perfo rming in the play. She's lo ved every minute o f it and wo uld like
to thank her family and friends fo r their lo ve and suppo rt.
Erik Tomasson
as Ralph
Erik has been in o nly o ne o fficial Wydo wn co mpany play, “The 39
Steps” and played the ro le o f “Pro fesso r Jo rdan”. Erik wo uld like to
thank his parents, Kathy and Michael fo r helping him memo rize all
his lines and Mr. Engelmeyer fo r being an aweso me pro ducer. “A
Christmas Sto ry” was really fun and Erik ho pes yo u enjo y it.
John Woodworth

I'm actually extremely sho cked that I go t in this play pro ductio n and
so was my sister she didn't think that I wo uld get in. I had less than
a week to practice my lines and I was scared. I didn't kno w if I was
go ing to make it o r no t. When it was my turn to auditio n my heart
dro pped as I walked to the center o f the stage, but after I said my
first wo rd I felt like I was a pro fessio nal acto r.
Blake has previo us experience dancing with the My King Studio o f
Dance and has perfo rmed as a tin so ldier at the Fo x Theater in
"The Nutcracker." He has taken drama co urses thro ugh his
ho mescho o l co -o p and is super excited to perfo rm in his first
scho o l pro ductio n. Blake extends his thanks to his family, who have
enco uraged his lo ve o f the theater and endured his co untless
ho urs o f co mic relief.
Iman Jamison

Iman is very excited to be cast PA in this pro ductio n and has been a
part all the plays and musicals since she has been at Wydo wn. She
wo uld like to thank her mo m fo r all her suppo rt thro ugho ut this

Katie is so excited to be a cast PA fo r "A Christmas Sto ry". This is
Katie's 5th sho w with Wydo wn Theatre Co mpany. She has been in
the cast o f "Much Ado Abo ut Middle Scho o l", and "Shrek the
Musical". Katie has been o n co stume crew fo r "Once o n this
Island", and "The 39 Steps".

Mya Bethany has o ne year o f Tech Crew experience. She wo rked
o n the pro ductio n o f Shrek last spring (20 15). Mya wo uld like to
thank her bro thers fo r teaching her to use a screwdriver pro perly.
When she was little she was ho lding it the wro ng way thinking "Why
isn't this thing wo rking?" She'd also like to thank her mo ther and
father fo r helping her gro w stro ng, physically and mentally.
This is Emily's seco nd pro ductio n with the Wydo wn Theatre
Co mpany. She lo ves being in tech crew and she is ho no red to
co me back and participate in the play. She wo uld like to thank the
co stume crew and the cast fo r all the hard wo rk they do fo r the play.

This is Jessica's first year at Wydo wn and her first year in Tech
Crew. Jessica is so exited to be in Tech Crew and ho pes that she
will have at least o ne mo re experience with Tech Crew. This is o ne
o f the mo vies that Jessica kno ws the best because her family
plays it a lo t during the ho lidays and she is so exited she gets to
make the sets and to learn a lo t mo re abo ut the play.

My name is Hannah and I am excited to participate in my first
Wydo wn Pro ductio n as a tech crew member. I cho se tech crew
because I like building stuff, and painting things, and I also like
being part o f a play. Also , I am fro m Spain and Germany and I have
lived in many co untries so I speak fo ur languages.

Cece is very excited to be in tech crew fo r the play. This is her third
play at Wydo wn. She was in 39 Steps and Shrek.

Jackso n is excited to be wo rking o n his first-ever pro ductio n this
year. Altho ugh he has no prio r sho w experience he has wo rked with
his mo m o n her sho ws since he was two . He likes to build and
create things o n his o wn and makes different things with his vast
amo unts o f Lego s.

Madeleine is very excited to be a part o f tech crew this year! Befo re
this she has been o n tech crew fo r Much Ado Abo ut Middle Scho o l
and Shrek. She can't wait to make mo re memo ries. She wo uld like
to thank everyo ne who made this pro ductio n po ssible. We co uldn't

Pablo is excited to be part o f the tech crew o f "A Christmas Sto ry".
This is the first time he is taking part in a theater pro ductio n and
canno t wait to see the play. His o ther interests include playing
so ccer, reading and playing with his do g. He wo uld like to thank his
family fo r all the suppo rt.
Jordan Kronemer
This is Jo rdan's third sho w wo rking tech at Wydo wn, having
wo rked o n Much Ado abo ut Middle Scho o l and The 39 Steps. He is
very exited to be wo rking with the tech crew at least o nce mo re
while at Wydo wn. I wo uld like to thank my parents and Mr. Kastner
fo r their suppo rt.
Sabrina Kronemer
This is Sabrina's first scho o l sho w. She has appeared in the
Meramec Co o perative and small co mmunity musicals. She lo ves
theater and kitty cats. Since there are no cats in this pro ductio n, she
enjo yed building and climbing o n the sets, even with crutches.
Thanks to my best friend Hannah, my parents and my bro ther who
enco uraged me to be invo lved in theater. The acting crazy was all
o n me!

This is Gabe's fifth pro ductio n with the Wydo wn Theatre co mpany.
He has learned so much during these sho ws and has enjo yed
wo rking with Mr. Kastner and getting to kno w so many different
peo ple.

Juju is very excited to be a part o f the pro ductio n! She lo ves crafts
and has experience wo rking with wo o d and paint. Additio nally, Juju
acted in her fifth grade play, so she kno ws what go es o n in the
theater. She is lo o king fo rward to building up the Fall Play to its best
as a member o f the tech crew!
Eli is very excited to be wo rking with the tech crew this year. This is
his first year at Wydo wn but he has prio r tech experience at his
previo us scho o l. He is co ntinuing to help o ut at his o ld scho o l
pro ductio ns. He is very glad to be wo rking o n the fall play this year.
Takuto Ogawa Technical Crew - Running Crew (Spotlight)
Takuto is very thrilled to be a tech crew in the play, A Christmas
Sto ry. Altho ugh he do es no t have prio r Tech crew experience, he
has been wo rking hard to be mo re helpful to the teachers and the
PA's. He thanks his parents and relatives, who to o k care o f him fo r
his entire life.
Salvador Planells
Sal is very excited to be a part o f the Tech Crew fo r the Fall Play. He
likes the o ppo rtunity to use to o ls and build sets fro m the bo tto m up
and see the final results during the perfo rmances. Sal has been part
o f the Tech Crew fo r all three years at Wydo wn and thanks Mr.
Kastner, Mr. Engelmeyer and Ms. Miller fo r allo wing him this
o ppo rtunity.

Aidan is very exited to be a part o f the play this year. He has been in
tech crew in o ne o ther pro ductio n, Much Ado Abo ut Middle Scho o l.
He can't wait to help build the set fo r a Christmas Sto ry.

Danny was very excited that he wo uld be a part o f the Wydo wn
Theatre Co mpany. Danny was part o f tech crew in 6 th grade. He
helped build the set fo r the Integrated Arts pro gram. Danny wo uld
like to give a special thanks to Mr. Kastner fo r letting him be a part
o f the Wydo wn Theatre Co mpany.
James is extremely excited to be in tech crew this year. James has
always lo ved building things when he was 10 he helped his uncle
reno vate a building. James is exited to build a ho use and a 20 's
car.

Dylan is very happy that he is part o f A Christmas Sto ry. He has

I am extremely proud of this production. The quality of the cast, technical crew, and
costume crew are outstanding. A truly successful production however, involves more
than what is presented on stage. It should not only be an artistic learning
experience, but a personal one as well. I'm especially proud of the cooperation,
mutual respect, the level of commitment, and the teamwork that has been
demonstrated by everyone involved with this production. These students have put
egos aside and discovered that whether they had one line or fifty, were on or off
stage, that everyone shares equally in the pride and success of such an
accomplishment.
We are excited to bring this classic story to the Wydown stage. I know that many of
you sitting here in this theatre have seen the movie countless times and perhaps it is
even an annual tradition in your household each winter season. The stories that will
be shared with you tonight are about family and love and the things that mean the
most to us as we grow older. As I have been sitting in rehearsals for the past
several weeks, I have often found myself thinking back to my childhood and all the
fond memories I have of my family and growing up on a farm. This film was an annual
tradition for our household and something that we often looked forward to. We each
had our favorite parts and would sometimes have to act them out or do our best
impersonation of the dialogue or scene. I can still hear my parent's laughter when
we would watch the movie together in our living room gathered around the fireplace
on a cold winter night.
This show celebrates the child in all of us and the innocence and magic of our youth
and that we sometimes never grow up. I hope that as you watch this production,
you are reminded of your fondest memories from your youth.
