Head of the River Special Edition

FROM THE PRESIDENT
Hello, and welcome to a very special edition of
the newsletter in which we will feature some
of the photos from the last couple of regattas.
As you’ll be aware, Unley High School Rowing
Club had a great day at the Schools Head of
the River Regatta last Saturday, winning no
fewer than seven Head of the River races. In
addition, the previous weekend at the State
First Grade Championships saw many of our
crews enjoying success in a variety of events.
And as I write this, our Year 10 Boys A crew,
Mitch Reinhard, Jack Rasic, Tom Ogier and
Alistair Rowe, coxed by Natasha Perrot from
Pulteney and coached by Bec Lannan and Peer
Richards, have just achieved 4th place in the
Final of the U17 men’s Coxed Quad Scull at the
Sydney International Rowing Regatta.
