Winemaker Notes:
Fragrant black currant, cherry and mocha notes tantalize the nose while the mid-palate is
filled with fleshy ripe tannins, blackberry, bitter chocolate and cardamom flavors. The finish
is well balanced integrating the ripe fruit with its plush tannins ending with hints of cassis,
roasted walnuts and accented with traces of licorice.
Fermintation:
The grapes were hand-harvested and fermented with native yeast in stainless steel tanks. The
resulting wine was aged for 48 months in French oak barrels and bottled unfined.
