Local assembly was undertaken in Victoria
at Clayton and in New Zealand.
Buyers could choose either a 4 speed
manual or 3 speed auto transmission

started in 1972 and continued until 1976.

Launched in October 1976, the last Charger made
in Australia and in production until August 1978. It
featured new front bodywork to differentiate it from
earlier Chargers. It was named as the “Chrysler”
Charger in a move away from the Valiant history.

FC PANEL VAN
At the time of authorising the production of the TR93 Robert Timms
Panel Van we asked the factory to produce a small quantity of the
model without any deco in the plain cream colour. This gives keen
collectors the chance to add this item as a new sample of this vehicle.
First in…best dressed…
Released in April 1962 and fitted with
a 3 speed column change gear shift
this model had the striking large tail
fins common to the era. An auto 3
speed gearbox was later available
which worked well with the 2433 cc
straight six engine. This Mark 1 model
was replaced in 1964 by the Mark 2
version which was restyled.
