Welcome to Chile and your adventure, starting with an overnight hotel stay in Santiago de Chile.

Transfer from hotel to airport on scheduled motor coach. Today you will fly to Punta Arenas. Once on board the MS Midnatsol we kick off everything with a
welcome-on-board dinner.
Chilean fjords / Tierra del Fuego 智利峽灣 / 火地島, 智利
The next three days we will sail through amazing areas like the Magellan Strait and the Beagle Channel, with channels, fjords and mountains plunging strait into the
icy water. The wild and remote area seems almost undisturbed by humans. The ice has scoured its way between the mountains, leaving isolated islands and
hidden bays and creating the unique fjord landscape of Chile.
Day 3 - 5
Any nature enthusiast will find it exciting to explore the Chilean fjords, Garibaldi fjord being one of them. When we enter the last part of this fjord you're in for a
beautiful surprise; the Garibaldi glaciers. The mountains and valleys are steep with snow-capped mountains making a striking contrast to an otherwise very green
area rich in wildlife. Come ashore and maybe we will see sea lions, Andean Condors and several other birds only found here. There will be an Argentinean wine
tasting in the evening.
At almost 56 degrees south, Cape Horn is the southernmost point of South America. When ranking the mythical places on Earth, Cape Horn is high on the list.
Before the Panama Canal, seafarers had to pass this infamous rocky island in order to cross from one side of the Americas to the other. We will do our best to
make a landing on Cape Horn – however, this is an area known for high seas and challenging conditions and if we make it this will be a great achievement.

As we cross the famous Drake Passage on our way to Antarctica, we continue our “Young Explorers Antarctica” classes. There will also be several lectures on
popular science topics, the explorer room is buzzing with activity and there is a tango course in the afternoon.

Day 12
It’s not like it hasn’t been a lot of photo opportunities so far on this adventure, but Antarctica is probably where you will use most of your memory card. Come ashore
to explore the impressive Antarctic scenery, penguins and seals. From deck there are lots of chances of seeing whales as well. Enjoy close encounters with wildlife
and glaciers, old whaling stations and relics. Trust us when we say that you will not be bored for one single second. Now you are in one of the most remote areas of
the world! Amont the places we see are South Shetlands and Cuverville Island, home to one of the largest known colonies of chinstrap penguins. Neko Harbour is
beautifully located in the innermost part of Andvord Bay. Paradise Harbour got its descriptive name from the whalers during the last century. Wilhelmina Bay has
spectacular scenery and is often called “Whale-mina Bay”, because of the large number of humpback whales spotted here in December. During our stay here, you
can come ashore and join our expedition team to see the penguins, seals and maybe whales up close, enjoy field days, kayaking and exploring the waters and ice
in small boats.

After an exhilarating time in Antarctica, you can spend the day in the explorer room, with lectures, on deck or see a recap of our experiences so far.

Day 13
Seeing Cape Horn again means we are back in civilization. In the Beagle Channel we visit Puerto Williams, a small town between the ocean and the mountain. On
our way back to Punta Arenas, we sail through the majestic Chilean fjords.

Day 14
We will make one last landing in the Chilean fjords, surrounded by high mountains and glaciers. As this is the last night on board, there will be a farewell dinner and
gathering. Arriving in Punta Arenas it is time to say goodbye to all your new friends and the crew.
After debarkation we transfer you to the airport for your flight to Santiago de Chile.

It is time to say goodbye to all your new friends and the crew when we reach Punta Arenas, on the edge of the Strait of Magellan. Your journey home continues with

One of the highlights of the South Shetlands, Deception Island is a distinctive ring-shaped volcanic caldera, a portion of which has collapsed
and created a navigable opening into the flooded interior. The natural harbour within includes Whalers Bay, home to an abandoned whaling
station known as Hektor, as well as a derelict British base.
Staggeringly photogenic and blessed with some of the most spectacular Antarctic scenery imaginable, Half Moon Island is a glittering gem
amongst these island treasures. Its serrated and creviced cliffs are home to a large colony of chinstrap penguins, as well as Antarctic terns, kelp
gulls, snowy sheathbills, Wilson’s storm petrels and several species of seals who are regular visitors to the island.
Early sealers in the area used Yankee Harbour on Greenwich Island as a frequent base of operations, its remarkable setting providing a natural
safe haven for the sailors. Remnants of those early days can still be seen littering the shoreline, but the big draw for visitors here is the large
colony of Gentoo penguins, whose numbers are estimated to be around 4,000 breeding pairs.
Situated in the scenic Errera Channel, Cuverville Island boasts the largest known colony of Gentoo penguins. The narrow Errera Channel offers
a spectacular passage to and from Cuverville as icebergs become trapped and grounded in the nearby shallows. Watching from the observation
decks as our navigators weave the ship carefully between the icebergs is as exciting as being surrounded by the throngs of nesting penguins
onshore.
Neko Harbour with its Gentoo penguin colony lies nestled in Andvord Bay, surrounded by the mountains and high glacier walls of the peninsula.
Named after a factory whaling ship from the early 1900s, Neko is one of the rare places in this area where you may land on the Antarctic
mainland.
The harbour is paradise not only in name, but in splendour and scenery as well. Protected from the winds of the nearby Gerlache Strait,
Paradise Harbour offers another rare opportunity for a mainland landing and some of the finest vistas the Peninsula has to offer. Here you can
find the Argentine base Almirante Brown and the Chilean base Gonzalez Videla, as well as colonies of neighbouring penguins.
This 11 kilometre long and 1.6 kilometre wide channel is one of the most beautiful passages in Antarctica. It bestows upon the traveller a
glimpse into what fascinates us most about this incredibly contrasting environment; it is sublime yet imposing, delicate yet daunting, alluring yet
inhospitable.
Its location in the picturesque Penola Strait makes Petermann Island a great spot for iceberg- and whale-spotting and offers spectacular views
across the channel to the Antarctic Peninsula.
The British base of Port Lockroy on Goudier Island was built in 1941 and abandoned in 1962. It lay empty until 1996 when it was refurbished as
a museum by the Antarctic Heritage Trust. It has since become one of the most popular sites in Antarctica and offers a unique peek into life in
an Antarctic base in the 1950's.
The mountains and high glaciers around Wilhelmina Bay ensure plenty of dramatic scenery and sculpted ice from tiny floating pieces to large
bergs. The bay is a choice feeding ground for whales and seals and therefore was a rich hunting ground for the whalers of the past.
The huge ice shelves of the Antarctic continent give birth to mile-long tabular icebergs. The strong currents of the Weddell Sea conspire to bring
these massive flat-topped bergs north into the Antarctic Sound at the north-eastern end of the Antarctic Peninsula.
Brown Bluff lies on the coast of the Antarctic Sound at the tip of the Antarctic Peninsula. As the name suggests, the landscape is dominated by
an ominous 745 metre high cliff. The towering, rust-coloured bluff is volcanic in origin and the beach is peppered with lava “bombs”. Adélie
penguins, Gentoo penguins, kelp gulls, and cape petrels can be found breeding here and Weddell seals are also regular visitors.

Antarctica - Kayak Workshop in Antarctica

Sea kayaking has become an increasingly popular activity in Antarctica, and opportunities exist for the activity at most landing sites in the
Antarctic Peninsula, South Shetland Islands and South Georgia. Sea kayaking provides opportunities for visitors to appreciate Antarctica as a
wilderness from a different perspective.
On board our sailings with MS Midnatsol to Antarctica, two professional kayak guides will be present to offer your basic training in mastering
the kayak.
We will offer basic kayak certification for up to 8 people per trip (4 people per guide) and this will be the main focus for kayak program. At the
end of your program, you will receive a kayak certification.
Kayak certification level will be on a level equivalent to 1 Star courses in BCU (British Canoe Union), aimed for new paddlers in first year
paddling skills. Our kayak guides will issue certifications from "Norsk Padleforbund".
Basic Course Certification – Sea Kayak
The course involves a theoretical and practical part which has a smaller theoretical part, and most of it is based on practical exercises in the
kayak on water.
You will be introduced to the kayak and all the necessary equipment. After completing the course you will learn how to use the kayak and
paddle through simple practical exercise. Additionally, you will get familiar with basic safety practices and drills, as well as how to effectively
maneuver the kayak.
This is a 2-day course with up to 16 hours duration. We will split the sessions over several days due to Hurtigruten travelling over long
distances from Chile to Antarctica.

•This workshop is bookable in advance - if there are any remanining places, they will be sold on board
•Due to the fact that we are conducting this course in pretty harsh conditions, we have decided to keep the passenger to staff ratio low

"Chilean Patagonia" is one of our pre programmes, this tour let's you explore the lakes, glaciers and snow-covered mountains of Chilean
Patagonia with Puerto Natales as a base, starting in Santiago and ending at the pier in Punta Arenas:
Day 1: Santiago/Punta Arenas/Puerto Natales
Start the tour with a morning transfer from your hotel to the airport and a flight to Punta Arenas followed by an approximately 3 hour long
transfer (incl. lunch box) through Patagonia’s rugged steppe with chance to see Magellan ostriches, birds and of course sheep - and with a
little luck some lonely condor tracing circles in the sky. Be welcomed at Hotel Remota. The rest of the day is spent at your leisure followed by

A three-hours catamaran cruise from Puerto Natales to Ultima Esperanza Fjord takes you through stunning Patagonian scenery to the 1,000
year-old Balmaceda glacier, home to cormorants and sea lions. A short walk takes you to the foot of the Serrano Glacier, surrounded by
snow-capped peaks and walls of ice. We then return to Puerto Natales, where the rest of the day is at your leisure. Dinner and overnight.

Enjoy the landscape passing by during your transfer back to the pier in Punta Arenas.

Atacama Desert overnight tour
Join us for an overnight tour to the Atacama Desert, the world’s driest desert starting from Santiago de Chile.
Day 1: Santiago/Calama/San Pedro de Atacama – Moon Valley
Start the tour with a transfer from your hotel in Santiago de Chile to the airport with a morning flight to Calama. From here you will be taken to
San Pedro de Atacama, your final destination and an oasis in the middle of the desert. San Pedro is a small village with narrow alleys and
traditional adobe houses, known as the archaeological capital of Chile. Evening excursion to the Moon Valley, declared a Sanctuary of nature
and natural Monument. Climb the Duna Mayor (Major Dune) which provides a beautiful view of the cordillera de la Sal, the valley of Death and
the Salt Flats, among many other sights with the dramatic sunset in the background. Return to the hotel, have dinner on your own and get a
good night's sleep.
Day 2: San Pedro de Atacama - Tulor and Quitor archeological sites
Morning departure towards the archeological site of Tulor - the oldest vestige and first human settlement in the Atacama Salt Flat, that has
been miraculously preserved. It is known as the “cradle of the likan antai culture dating back ,
years. Next we visit Pukar de uitor.
This defensive stone fortress from the 12th century was attacked by the Spanish conquistador Francisco de Aguirre in 1540, restored in 1981
and then declared a national Monument. A tasting of typical products will be served during the excursion. Return to San Pedro de Atacama
and spend the afternoon at your leisure. Dinner on your own and overnight.
Day 3: San Pedro de Atacama/Calama/Santiago –El Tatio Geysers
Early morning excursion to the el Tatio Geysers, located at a height of 4,300 m above sea level and at approx. 89 km from San Pedro de
Atacama. The geothermal field has close links to the volcanic activity in the zone and consists of huge steam columns. Intense sulphur odors
and pools of boiling water and mud make this place seem like the initiation of life. e on the lookout for families of vicu as and maybe even
foxes and Andean ostrich. Stop at Puritama, famous for its hot pools, where the warm water flows through the rocks. After a day of intense
unwinding, return to your hotel to fresh up and have time for a lunch on your own before the afternoon transfer to Calama. Late afternoon we
head back to Santiago de Chile, followed by a transfer to your hotel. Dinner on your own and overnight.

Passengers’ full name as shown on travel document is required at the time of
booking. Amendment will likely result in fare difference, loss of reservation and
/ or incurring amendment fees.
Stateroom assignment is at cruise line’s discretion, and on best available basis.
Cruise line may reserves the rights to upgrade a passenger to higher category
accommodations at no additional cost.
If a material alteration to a package tour after its commencement for reasons
beyond control, the travel agency may impose any additional charge to his
clients as a result of an increase in operation costs. (“Reasons beyond control
means hostilities, political unrest, natural disasters, pestilences, bad weather,
technical problems to transport, changes to the frequency or timetable of any
means of conveyance by its operator without advance notice, strikes, industrial
action, etc.)
Cruise line may reserves the rights to make changes on itinerary, timing on all
embarkations/disembarkations, and port(s) call cancellation due to weather
condition or specific reasons. All of the changes will not be considered as
against “The Trade Descriptions Ordinance, Chapter 36 , Laws of Hong Kong .
Passengers shall not make claim against the cruise line or/and the travel
agency for any compensation.
Passengers’ passport validity is required to have at least 6 months prior the
return date and valid traveling visa(s) is granted. Travel agency will not be
liable for any consequences.
HK Travel Industry Council recommends passenger to take out the travel
insurance before the journey.
The above Terms and Conditions are subject to change without prior notice.
Rights are reserves the rights to alter the terms & conditions and make final
decision in case of any disputes.
Cancellation fee of HK$2,000 per person/transaction will be levied on top of
carriers’ policy.

輪公司最後安排為準，乘客同意及接受郵輪公司有最終的決定權及不會當
作違反商品說明條例，亦就此放棄向郵輪公司或本公司追討或索償

乘客需持有回港日期起計不少於 6 個月以上有效護照及入境簽證，郵輪公
司或本公司對乘客因個人證件所產生之任何問題概不負責
›
香港旅遊業議會建議客人根據個人需要，出發前購買旅遊綜合保險。客人
於本公司訂購郵輪產品，可享八八折購買中旅郵輪保險。
›
以上費用及條款如有任何更改，恕不另行通知。本公司保留對條款於件任
何時間及任何調整或更改的最終決定權

乘客取消行程將按照載運機構的取消政策處理及另行收取行政費用每位每
