Hereson Place Merrivale Heights, off Dumpton Park Drive, Broadstairs, Kent CT10 1FG Phase 1 A collection of 3, 4 & 5 bedroom homes Beautiful homes, attractively priced The pretty town of Broadstairs offe Phase 1 at Hereson Place in Broadstairs offers an impressive range of attractive 3, 4 and 5 bedroom properties. Ideally situated off Merrivale Heights, Hereson Place is within walking distance of the characterful town centre and is on a bus route and close to the station as well as to several schools. Broadstairs lies approximately 80 miles east of London, a short drive leading to the M2 for the A2 and the capital. A new highspeed rail service to London (St Pancras in just over 1 hour 30 minutes), and access by car in about ten minutes to Kent International Airport have elevated this area to prime commuter status. Easy access to the ferry services, Ashford and the Channel Tunnel Terminal confirm that this is an excellent base for channel-hoppers on leisure or business trips. Hereson Place is on the site of a former school in an established residential neighbourhood that is still well served by other schools. The closest include White Cliffs Montessori Pre-School, Pierremont Pre-School, St Mildred’s Primary Infants, St Ethelbert’s Catholic Primary, Upton Junior School, Hilderstone College (16-plus rs great historic charm and beautiful sandy Blue Flag beaches school/college), and Dane Court Grammar. East Kent College, for further education and vocational courses, is on Ramsgate Road. Health care is also reassuringly close; the Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother in Margate has an A&E unit while Victoria Hospital in Deal has a minor injuries unit. Blue Flag beaches and much more Broadstairs has great historic charm, with its quaint squares of fishermen’s cottages and Charles Dickens’ summer home, Bleak House, yet is firmly in the 21st century when it comes to leisure and shopping, sports and culture. Its sandy Blue Flag beaches and promenade with glorious flower displays are obvious attractions, but this is also a town of festivals, daring watersports, cosmopolitan restaurants and more. The town’s lively calendar includes a food festival, folk week and Dickens festival, and there are clubs representing a very wide range of interests. The traditional town centre features a pleasing mix of shops, including a Tesco, and mostly independent pubs and restaurants. The town also has parks, a museum, independent cinema, and Stunning new homes within minutes of the town centre The Pavilion in the Sands, a venue hosting shows, dance classes and craft fairs. The cinema, housed in a Grade II listed building, shows family blockbusters as well as independent and art house films. There are public leisure centres with swimming pools in the neighbouring resorts of Ramsgate and Margate. Westwood Shopping Centre, about seven minutes away by car, is the popular destination for big names in retailing including Debenhams, Next, Primark and H&M, together with family-style eateries, a Bannatyne’s health club and a 10-screen Vue cinema. Asda, Sainsbury’s and a Tesco Extra can also be found here. Worth the extra miles... Beyond the town there are numerous activities and sights to enjoy, from boat trips to see seals on the sand banks, wildlife watching at Pegwell Bay National Nature Reserve or visiting Margate’s new Turner Contemporary International Art Gallery. It is also only a short journey to Canterbury for the Cathedral, museums, a multitude of shops, and nearby Howletts Wildlife Animal Park. the Site Layout 1 25 24 2 23 The Amberley 5 bedroom house The Langdale 5 bedroom house The Tapley 4 bedroom house The Gowan 4 bedroom house The Bamber 4 bedroom chalet bungalow The Staughton 4 bedroom house The Marton 4 bedroom house The Abbottsley 3 bedroom house 3 Future development by Abbey New Homes 22 4 5 21 6 7 Land maintained by the management 20 company. 19 17 18 9 8 10 V V 16 15 11 14 RA IL WA Y 13 LI NE 12 Please Note: This site plan is indicative only and is subject to change.
