Guest Players – For age groups U-14 and younger, a maximum of 4 guest players allowed up to
the maximum roster limit for the age group. For age groups U15 through U19, a maximum of 6
guest players up to the limit for the age group. Guest players must be from a younger age group or
the same age group but a lower or same level division. Champions division players can only guest
play on a same or higher age Champions or “A” & "AB" level team.

"The team's representative" is the team's head coach unless
the team's head coach is the parent or other relative of the involved player in which case the
team's representative is the Club's President.

A player does not require permission from his/her club team representative to attend an open tryout
held during the period of May 16th through July 31st of the same calendar year. However, once
she signs the "Illinois Women's Soccer League Player Registration Form," she is committed to that
team and is no longer free to try out for or join another IWSL team for the following soccer playing
year. (Teams and clubs must retain the signed Illinois Women's Soccer League Player
Registration Form as proof of the signing and the date of signing.) A player who violates this rule is
not eligible to transfer to any IWSL club during the current soccer playing year.

After waiting 15 minutes past the scheduled game starting time or 20 minutes if 5 additional
minutes have been requested as stated above, the coach of the waiting team shall inform the
referee that his/her team is leaving as the other team is late beyond the required waiting time and
that his team will take a forfeit against the late team. The waiting coach must so inform the IWSL
Business Office within three days of this development. However, if the waiting team coach agrees
to play the game even although the opponent team is late, there can be no protest based on
lateness.

K: Safety & Weather/Lightning-The team's coaches/officials are responsible for their own safety
and that of their players. They shall ensure that all persons associated with their team immediately
leave the field and go to a place of safety inside a car or building when lightning is seen (visible
from the field no matter how far away it appears) and/or when a lightning detection device indicates
lightning is in the area. They shall then wait there until no lightning has been seen for thirty (30)
minutes or the lightning detection device indicates danger from lightning has passed. Team's
coaches/officials shall assure that all present adhere to this rule.
