Life without Danger
Ever since God Almighty created the universe, He established an elaborate and detailed system to
which the universe adheres to maintain the safety of the universe and its inhabitants and avoid chaos
and risks; Islamic laws brought regulations to our daily lives.
The exponential industrial, architectural and technological advancements and growth in the world
have ushered in new risks and threats to our social and economic lives.
To protect resources, human and otherwise, from accidents and threats, efforts have to be
consolidated to increase the community’s awareness.
Starting from this principle and from our common belief in safety as the team that established this
entity, we founded the Project Safety Higher Academy to pioneer increasing social awareness of the
importance of health and occupational safety and setting the standards for safety that suit our
environment and meet international safety standards. Additionally, POSHA serves to provide high
standard learning and training opportunities across Saudi Arabia and neighboring countries where
highly qualified staff has been hired to pave the way for generations that meet and exceed local and
international safety standards in health and occupational safety.
Since both public and private sectors need this vital field, we have collaborated with both to create
job opportunities for Saudis and increase their awareness to the importance of partaking in this vital
field through learning and training courses at POSHA.

Our main purpose has always been and still is to provide high quality education
and training to Saudis to enable them to work in factories and other
establishments that require the presence of such elite; this will pave the way for a
new culture in Saudi, one that appreciates and understands the importance of
Safety and place emphasis on it for the benefit of the entire society. Eventually,
POSHA will become the reference for those wishing to pursue their research and
studies in the fields of health and occupational safety.

Project Safety is part of POSHA’s name because we believe in the importance of safety in
this vital industry where – statistically – the most accidents happen. Due to the variety of
tasks and tools in these projects, threats and risks increase.
A Health and Safety Training program has been developed based on the highest
international standards and taking into consideration the local and organizational cultures
to limit the number of accidents to its lowest possible.

Due to the dangers associated with the medical profession, strict safety policies, standards and regulations
have been established to limit and control threats. The Ministry of Health places great emphasis on the
prevention and elimination of threats.
Since medical establishments are considered a source of spreading diseases from patients and medical
wastes, it is of the utmost importance to have health and safety professionals that are exceptionally trained
and skilled to ensure preventing any grave accidents.
POSHA has partnered with the Chicago Medical Training Centre and the Technical and Vocational Training
Corporation to ensure that Medical Health and Safety Supervisors receive the exceptional training and skills
they require to be efficient and effective at handling this sensitive job.

This vital sector requires the establishment of Safety and Security standards and monitoring

The majority of shopping centers do not meet the minimum safety requirements necessary
in terms of building, entrances and exits, escalators and elevators, etc. This has led to
accidents that have resulted in death.
Therefore, POSHA guarantees training health and safety inspectors to become highly skilled
in planning, implementing, monitoring and supervising safety plans to remove threats from
shopping centers and ensuring a safe and enjoyable shopping environment as per the
highest local and international standards.
