Return
All of our equipment is
washed and sterilised prior
to each hire and is then
packed in special boxes
to maintain cleanliness.
We will accept equipment
returned rinsed and
placed under running
water, leaving no food or
drink on the equipment.
The items can then be
placed in the special
packing boxes wet. This
will not cost any extra.
If however you wish to
return the hire equipment
dirty there is an addition
charge of 30%. All food
must be removed and all
glasses must be empty.
The customer has the
responsibility to insure the
equipment and pay for all
missing and broken items.
An important note about
our linen hire.
You are not responsible
for laundering the line.
You must however ensure
that the linen is dry before
you put it in the bag to
return to us.
Wet folded linen will
quickly develop mould
which cannot be removed
and in these cases you
will be charged with full
replacement costs.

and Catering Equipment hire business which
has been established for over 25 years.
We provide catering equipment for a
variety of occasions and customers
from private individuals to caterers
and large corporations.
We encourage customers to visit
our showroom so that they can
see and touch the equipment
that we hire. Many of our
competitors are purely web
based and you can only see
their website images.

The hire charge is for
72 hours or from Friday
to Monday. Extra days are
charged at 20% per day.
For one week the charge
is twice the 72 hour rate.
A deposit of £50 or 10%
is taken upon booking
and is refundable after the
function, minus the cost
of any missing items.
The total hire charge is
due 2 weeks before the
function. Therefore, prior
to your function the
booking deposit plus the
hire charge will have to
be paid in full. Any late
bookings are due for
payment immediately.

Conditions of Hire terms
1 The Hirer shall accept full responsibility for the
equipment from time of collection or delivery
to return.
2 The Hirer shall at all times and in all respects
indemnify the owner against and from, any and
every expense, liability, loss, claim or proceeding whatsoever in respect of any Personal Injury
whatsoever (including but without prejudice
to the generality of the foregoing, injury to the
Hirer (if the same is possible) and injury to any
servant, employee or Agent of the Hirer) and in
respect of damage to any property whatsoever
(including the equipment) arising out of or in
connection with or consequent upon the hire,
delivery, use, misuse, non-use, repossession,
collection, return or non-return of the
equipment or any part thereof.
3 Breakage or shortages will be charged to the
Hirer at replacement costs.This includes table
linen with burn holes from cigarettes and candles
etc. Substitute items will not be accepted in lieu
of any discrepancy. Replacement costs shown
do not include the price of the container or bag
the hire items are supplied in, this will add an
additional charge if not returned.
4 Extra days hire or failure to return equipment
on specified day will incur a surcharge of 20%
per day. Any items not returned within 5 days
will be regarded as missing/lost and charged
for at full replacement cost.
5 Any discrepancy between goods delivered
and details shown on thebooking confirmation
or any item found broken at time of delivery
must be notified immediately by telephone.
6 Weekend hire (i.e. Friday to Monday or
Tuesday over Bank Holiday) is charged the
standard 48 hour rate.
7 All prices are subject to V.A.T. at the
current rate.
8 Care is taken to see that the equipment is clean
and ready for use. It must be returned in a
like condition (except Linen items which
should not be washed or laundered but
returned dirty and dry as cloths left wet
overnight go mildewy and will be charged
for at the full replacement cost).
An additional charge of 30% will be made
for equipment returned dirty.
9 A Deposit of £50.00(or 10% whichever is
the higher) payable when booking,
refunded on completion of hire, less cost
of any missing or broken items. All major
credit cards are accepted, for amounts
over £10. All payments to be made in
advance of hire this includes the full
payment of hire and additional deposits.
10 We reserve the right to replace an
unavailable item with a suitable substitute.
11 Proof of Identity may be required before
any goods are released on hire.
12Delivery by A B Hire staff will be to ground
floor only unless prearranged otherwise
and an extra charge will be applied.
13 Abortive journeys and waiting time at
customer premises will be charged for.
14Delivery times are approximate an am/pm
delivery time can be requested but this is
no guarantee of a definite time.
15 Drivers and porters do not set up any
equipment, you as the hirer have that
responsibility.
16 The equipment being collected from you
must boxed and stacked with lids closed
and glasses must be in the correct crates
and empty of liquid.
17 Orders cancelled within 7 days of hire
period are fully chargeable. Orders
cancelled 8-14 days before hire will be
changed at 50% of the total hire cost.
