Bullhead Area Chamber of Commerce
Located on the Colorado River, near the spot where Arizona, Nevada and California meet, Bullhead City is a
thriving community, where striking scenic beauty provides the backdrop for a host of attractions and outdoor
recreation activities.Gold miners first began settling the area in the mid-1800s. The community now known as
Bullhead City first began as Hardyville, when William Harrison Hardy began operating a ferry, trading post and
inn on the Colorado River in 1864. A historical marker is located on the actual site, near the corner of Highway
95 and Plata Drive. The nearby Hardyville Pioneer Cemetery contains nearly two-dozen graves from the period.
This piece of the area’s history is remembered each October during Bullhead City’s Hardyville Days celebration.
The modern beginnings of the city are tied to the construction of Davis Dam, which began in 1942, but had to be
halted because World War II consumed necessary materials. One year after the war ended, construction resumed
and the dam was completed in 1950. Davis Dam is named after the late Arthur Powell Davis, director of the U.S.
Bureau of Reclamation from 1914 until 1923. It provides hydroelectric power to cities throughout the Southwest,
as well as controlling the Colorado River flows to prevent flooding and managing the water resources in the
region.
Davis Dam construction workers and their families lived in a community at the foot of the dam called Davis
Camp. Eventually, the town that sprang up to support the growing population was named Bullhead City after a
rock island in the Colorado River that resembled the shoulders and head of a bull with large, curved horns. In
time, the rock was submerged under the rising waters of Lake Mohave as they backed up behind Davis Dam in
the early 1950s. In the 1960s, developers began advertising local subdivisions in the Southern California area and
the retirement population began to grow. Bullhead City was incorporated in 1984 and the population has grown
from just over 10,000 residents in 1980 to nearly 41,000 reported in 2007, with an estimated population of 75,000
in a 20-mile radius in 2008.
The Arizona Veterans Memorial stands nine feet high and 40 feet wide and displays the flags of Arizona, the U.
S. and each branch of the armed services. The memorial exhibits 11 bronze plaques holding the names of more
than 3,000 service men and women from the state of Arizona who were killed in all the wars and armed conflicts
in the last 100 years. On each side of the curved memorial wall are giant bronze eagles surrounded by 50 stars,
each representing one of the 50 states. The riverfront memorial park is open year-round and admission is free.
The Colorado River Valley is known across the Southwest as a year-round vacation paradise, offering a choice
between the cold, fast-flowing Colorado River and the warm, smooth waters of Lake Mohave. Both are perfect
for water sports such as boating, skiing, personal watercraft and sport fishing throughout the year. Fishing has
always been one of the region’s claims to fame. Local fishing guides report catching striper in the 20- to 30pound range almost daily, and believe there are still even larger fish to be found in the Bullhead City area.
Regular special events like rodeos, a bluegrass festival, the annual River Regatta, an annual motorcycle rally,
burro (not really) bar-b-que, chili cook-offs and festivals provide family-friendly activities with a perfect climate
for outdoor recreation all year long. A variety of lodging, dining and shopping experiences are offered by the
area’s many businesses and gaming, along with top-ranked entertainment, are located just across the Colorado
River in Laughlin, Nevada, as well as on the Fort Mojave Indian Tribe’s reservation to the south. For a vacation
long or short, Bullhead City is a hub for enjoying many interesting activities in the surrounding region. The
area’s wide selection of accommodations—from campgrounds and RV parks to motels and full-service resort

The Fort Mojave Indian Tribe continues to move forward, bringing new economic opportunities to the tri-state
area with the creation of new businesses, new jobs, residential communities, casino gaming and superior
customer service. The Tribe relies on its rich culture and history to help structure the future of its people in an
ever-changing world.
Mojave Indians are Pipa Aha Macav—“The People By The River.” Mojave culture traces the earthly origins of
its people to Spirit Mountain, the highest peak in the Newberry Mountains, located northwest of the present
reservation inside the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. The Tribe’s spirit mentor, Mutavilya, created the
Colorado River, its plants and animals, and instructed the Pipa Aha Macav in the arts of civilization. They were
prosperous farmers with well-established villages and trade networks that stretched as far away as the Pacific
Ocean.
With the ever-growing insurgence of non-Indian people to the region traditionally occupied by Pipa Aha Macav,
a U.S. military outpost was established in 1859 on the east bank of the Colorado River to give safe passage to
American immigrants traveling from east to west. Initially, this outpost was called Camp Colorado, but it was
soon renamed Fort Mojave. After the military fort was closed in 1891, the buildings were transformed into a
boarding school, which operated until 1930. Ruins of Fort Mojave still exist today as a reminder of the oncetroubled historic relationship between Pipa Aha Macav and American civilization. The ruins are located on a
bluff overlooking the Colorado River, just south of the boundary of present-day Bullhead City.
The Fort Mojave Indian Tribe is a federally recognized sovereign Indian nation with 32,000 acres of land in
Arizona, Nevada and California. The Tribe’s upbeat economy provides job opportunities for thousands of people
through casino gaming, a championship golf course, agriculture, a tribal power company and generating station,
residential subdivisions and a new indoor multi-use arena that is currently under construction.
Recreation opportunities abound, whether it is gambling at one of the two Tribal casinos on the reservation,
boating or fishing along the Colorado River, staying at the Avi Resort & Casino’s full-service hotel, hitting the
links at the Mojave Resort PGA Championship Golf Course or enjoying the comforts of home away from home
in the RV parks, located adjacent to either casino. An annual Pow Wow each February brings Native Americans
from tribes across the U.S. to a celebration that includes dance and music competitions and displays of many

Bullhead City is located in northwestern Mohave County, Arizona, at the point where Arizona, Nevada and
California all meet to form the “tri-state” area. Located halfway between Phoenix and Los Angeles, the tri-state
area includes Bullhead City, Fort Mohave and Mohave Valley, Arizona, Needles, California and Laughlin,
Nevada. The Colorado River and Lake Mohave make up the western boundary of Mohave County, offering
hundreds of miles of shoreline and access to Lake Mohave and Lake Mead. Katherine Landing, the southernmost
access to Lake Mohave, offers several boat launching ramps, a large marina, campgrounds, motel, grocery store,
boat rentals and a repair shop.
U.S. Interstate 40, Nevada Route 95 and Arizona Route 68 make travel to the area very accessible by car or RV.
Other transportation options include air service via the Laughlin-Bullhead City International Airport, Amtrak’s
daily stops at the station in Needles and various bus services from the station in Laughlin. Getting around town is
easy with Bullhead City’s BATS bus system, Laughlin’s CAT bus service and several cab and car rental
companies.
There is no shortage of things to do and see in the Bullhead City area. Attractions abound, along with a host of
accommodations and dining options that make the region a great vacation destination for people of all ages.
A wide selection of dining options include drive-thru fast food and a variety of take-out eateries, coffee shops,
steak houses, gourmet restaurants and several varieties of ethnic cuisine, including Mexican, South American,
Asian, Italian and more. The area is known for its value in accommodations, offering everything from top-of-theline river-view suites and hotel rooms to motels, RV parks and campgrounds. More than 15,000 hotel, motel and
RV spaces await visitors to the area in a small 15-mile radius, with prices starting as low as $40 per night for a
hotel or motel room.
Laughlin’s 11 major resort casinos offer all the amenities expected of large Nevada casinos. Other area
attractions include nine golf courses, miles of sandy beaches, a variety of watercraft rental options, guided fishing
and kayak tours, paddlewheel riverboat cruises, multi-screen movie theaters, bowling alleys, miniature golf and
bumper cars. In the nearby Black Mountains, the historic Route 66 mining town of Oatman, Arizona, offers
stagecoach rides, horseback riding, daily gunfights and tours of an authentic underground gold mine.

striped bass ever caught for more than 20 years. That giant, landed in the early 1980s, was caught just south of
Davis Dam and weighed in at more than 58 pounds.
Over the past five years, the real estate industry in Bullhead City became one of the fastest-growing segments of
the region’s economy and has resulted in the availability of a variety of homes with prices at a stable, affordable
level.
Bullhead City is well known for great diversity in housing types and styles. As a result, a broad range of prices
are available from riverfront homes on the Colorado River to the hills overlooking the City. In between, there are
existing site-built homes, manufactured housing and condominium projects that round out the community with
housing opportunities to fit almost any need.
A large selection of affordable rental housing also is available in the area. Residents can select from traditional
single-family homes to mobile homes, condos, RV park spaces and apartment complexes offering amenities like
pool/spa areas, work-out facilities, clubhouses, laundry facilities and covered or garage parking.
All utilities are available in the area, including electricity, natural gas, propane, refuse collection, water, sewer,
telephone, cable television, satellite television and Internet service. High-speed Internet service is available, and
some new subdivisions have been planned with high-speed Internet and fiber optics built in during construction.

The tri-state area boasts a variety of private, public and charter schools from preschool through community
college level. The Bullhead City Campus of Mohave Community College (MCC) is a two-year, fully accredited
public college serving more than 6,000 students at its four campus locations, including Bullhead City. Courses
are diverse and selected to serve the needs of the community. A new health services building houses nursing,
dental hygiene and emergency medical service classes. The local MCC campus is also home to a satellite campus
of Northern Arizona University, offering advanced degrees in several areas of study.
The river cities’ first vocational non-profit charter school, Academy of Building Industries, is located in Fort
Mohave. Vocational trade courses offered include carpentry, air conditioning and heating, computer-aided
drafting, plumbing, welding and electrical. The school accepts both male and female students from 14 through 21
years of age.
The beautiful Colorado River and Lake Mohave, the Black and Newberry Mountains, and the striking scenery
and warm desert climate offer many opportunities for recreation year-round. Bullhead City offers a long list of
recreation programs and operates a Community Swimming Pool. In addition, organized softball, baseball, soccer
and football leagues provide a variety of team and individual sports. A trail system is in place with four
segments, most in close proximity to the Colorado River, offering hikers a variety of locations for exercise and
great views.
Bullhead Community Park
Located along the Colorado River, on the west side of Highway 95 toward Bullhead City’s northern end,
Bullhead Community Park features a large grassy area with a children’s playground, horseshoe pits, ball fields,
sand volleyball courts, beachfront ramadas with barbecues and a boat launch ramp. A beautiful new, large,
covered ramada area is available for special events by reservation. Admission is free but there is a fee for launch

Ken Fovargue Park and Community Swimming Pool
Located on Trane Road, near the Bullhead City Administration Building, this park features lighted basketball
courts and ball fields, a children’s playground and the Bullhead City Community Swimming Pool (open from

Rotary Park
Located on a 300-acre parcel of land along the Colorado River in Bullhead City, Rotary Park features a sports
complex with soccer fields, Pop Warner football and brand-new ball fields. The giant park also offers lighted
basketball courts, a skate park, beaches, walking trails, ramadas with barbecues, a boat launch ramp, a fishing
jetty and a fish cleaning station. Admission is free, but there is a fee for launch ramp use during the summer
season. The park is located on Riverview Drive, about a mile west of Highway 95. For information, call the

Colorado River Heritage Greenway Trails System
This system of improved hiking trails offers several short hikes in various locations throughout Bullhead City,
and includes the only designated water trail system in the state of Arizona. Four segments of the trail have been
completed to date, with trailheads located at Davis Camp, Heritage Park (just south of the Laughlin Bridge), Ken
Fovargue Park and Rotary Park. Kayak rentals and tours are available, or visitors may bring their own watercraft
and launch at Davis Camp, Bullhead Community Park or Rotary Park. Small, non-motorized crafts can be

Big Bend Of The Colorado River State Recreation Area
Located on the shore of the Colorado River, south of Laughlin’s resort area between Needles Highway and the
Colorado River, this Nevada State Park offers camping and day-use facilities, plus a launch ramp, swimming area
and lots of sandy beaches with ramadas and barbecues. Hiking, fishing and bird watching are among the many

Fisherman’s Access
Located on Casino Drive in Laughlin, along the Colorado River and just south of the Laughlin Bridge, this area
offers a green, grassy river walk area perfect for picnicking. There’s a boat launch ramp, ample parking and
restrooms. Admission and launch ramp use are free.Lake Mohave
Nearly 68 miles from end to end, Lake Mohave offers an abundance of coves and natural campsites with some of
the best fishing in the Southwest. Located just north of Bullhead City and above Davis Dam, Lake Mohave is
part of the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. Just two miles north of Davis Dam is Katherine Landing. The
largest marina on the lake, Katherine Landing was first settled by gold miners and is named for Katherine Mine.
It now just runs north of the improved marina area. Visitors will find several amenities including: launch ramps;
a marina with hundreds of boat slips and a gas dock; a motel, RV park and campgrounds; a store, restaurant and
boat rentals that include everything from personal watercraft to fishing boats and houseboats; and a boat repair

Davis Dam
Located in Pyramid Canyon, at the northern end of Bullhead City, Davis Dam created the 68-mile-long Lake
Mohave. Named for former Director of Reclamation, Arthur Powell Davis, this $67 million earth and rock
embankment spanning the Colorado River has a concrete spillway, intake structure and power plant. The dam is
200 feet high and was completed in 1953 to control floods and to generate hydroelectric energy. Best viewing of
the dam is from Davis Camp in Bullhead City or from River Road in Laughlin. The dam itself is closed to traffic.

Grapevine Canyon
Native American petroglyphs, created by indigenous people an estimated 800 to 1,000 years ago, adorn the walls
of this canyon located near Christmas Tree Pass, northwest of Bullhead City. There is a two-mile gravel road
leading to the trailhead off Highway 163, about 10 miles west of the Laughlin Bridge. The canyon was named for
the grape plants found in the area. A short and somewhat strenuous walk from the parking lot is required to reach
the petroglyphs. Ranger-guided hikes are offered regularly. For information, call the Katherine Landing Ranger

Colorado River Museum
The museum includes replicas of the area landmarks, Native American artifacts and displays of historical items
from early settlers to the first slot machines. Located on Highway 95, just north of the Laughlin Bridge at Davis
Camp, the museum is operated by the non-profit Colorado River Historical Society. It is open from September

Davis Camp
Originally built in the 1940s as the housing area for the workers building Davis Dam, this huge park stretches
along the Colorado River from the foot of Davis Dam south to the Laughlin Bridge. It features beaches with
ramadas and barbecues, a boat launch ramp, swim beach and riverfront camping areas. The RV park offers partial
and full hook-ups and a laundry facility. For information, call (928) 754-7250.
Arizona Veterans Memorial
A beautiful riverfront park in Bullhead City is the setting for the Arizona Veterans Memorial, dedicated in the
memory of more than 3,000 military men and women from the state of Arizona who were killed during wars and
armed conflicts over the past 100 years. The largest portion of the memorial overlooks the Colorado River and
contains a line of giant flagpoles paralleling a curved wall standing nine feet high and 40 feet wide. Displayed
here are bronze plaques engraved with the names of each of the service men and women who died defending our
nation. On each side of the memorial wall are giant bronze eagles surrounded by 50 stars representing the 50
United States.
The Arizona Veterans Memorial Park also contains a pyramid-shaped stone memorial honoring the U.S.S.
Arizona, which was destroyed in the attack on Pearl Harbor that marked America’s entry into World War II. The
memorial park is open year-round and admission is free. To get there, take State Highway 95 to Riverview Drive.
Travel west (towards the Colorado River and past Rotary Park) until the road ends at Riviera Boulevard, about
two miles. Turn left onto Riviera Boulevard and continue about 300 yards, where the road terminates into a large
parking lot. Follow the signs to enter the memorial park area.
Oatman
Located in the Black Mountains, southeast of Bullhead City on historic Route 66, Oatman is a Western history
buff’s dream. Experience an old western gunfight, enjoy the friendly ‘wild’ burros, and browse through the many
curio shops, art galleries and stores. Taste the “fixins” at one of several eateries, or wet your whistle at a saloon
as you go back in time to the late 1800s, when gold was discovered in the region. Many buildings still exist from
that time period, including the Oatman Hotel, built in 1902, and The Glory Hole antique shop, constructed in
1914 as the Oatman Drug Company and Health Club.
Nearby Gold Road Mine offers an hour-long walking tour of the labyrinth of tunnels first mined in 1900.
Stagecoach rides and off-road tours also are available. The town hosts several events each year, including the
Annual Bed Races and Gold Camp Days. To reach Oatman from Bullhead City, take Highway 95 south to
Boundary Cone Road. Head east on Boundary Cone Road for about 14 miles and you’re there. For more

Havasu National Wildlife Refuge
Established in 1941, the Havasu National Wildlife Refuge protects more than 37,000 acres and 30 river miles
(300 miles of shoreline) along the Colorado River. The refuge starts about 15 miles south of Bullhead City at the
Topock Marsh and runs south to the mouth of Lake Havasu. Topock Marsh is a huge wetlands area that is home
to many species of fish and waterfowl. There are several launch ramp and camping facilities available and fishing
is abundant.
Also, inside the refuge is the scenic Topock Gorge, where the Colorado River winds for several miles through
canyons of towering, ancient volcanic rocks. The refuge is managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and
can be reached from Courtwright Road in Mohave Valley or via the Topock exit on I-40. For information, call

Boat Launching Facilities
Boat launch facilities are available at Davis Camp, Bullhead Community Park, Rotary Park in Bullhead City and
at Fisherman’s Access and Big Bend Of The River State Recreation Area in Laughlin. Some launch fees may
apply.
The closest launching area on Lake Mohave is at Katherine Landing. Lake Mead National Recreation Area park
entrance fee applies, and there is a choice of four launching facilities (two paved). For information, contact the

Golf
The terrific climate allows for year-round golf in the Bullhead City area. Currently, there are 10 golf courses in
the area, including six 18-hole courses and three nine-hole facilities. The variety of holes and pars offers exciting
play for golfers of all skill levels.
The arts are alive and well in the Colorado River Valley through the work of a number of organizations,
individuals and businesses in the region.
Mohave Community College
The Bullhead City Campus of Mohave Community College, in partnership with area arts organizations, provides
culturally enriching programs throughout the year. Music, dance, theater and visual arts are presented at area
venues and schools through programs such as “Artists in the Classroom,” “Celebration of Heritage,” “Character
Counts” and “Talking Loudly in the Library.” For information on upcoming events, contact the Leisure Arts

Colorado River Concerts
Colorado River Concert Association, a volunteer non-profit organization, offers an exciting selection of concerts
each season at very affordable prices, from folk to operatic singers, dancers and instrumentalists. For more

River Valley Artist Guild
This local organization holds exhibitions and shows throughout the region each year. River Valley Artist Guild is
a non-profit organization with a mission to encourage individual efforts and community interest in the creative
arts. Every year, the guild sponsors local arts programs including high school and community college arts
scholarships, a high school art show, the Annual Black Mountain Art Show and the Arts and Crafts Fair held
during Hardyville Days at Bullhead Community Park each October.
Laughlin Resorts
Several of the Laughlin casino resorts offer regular concert series’ featuring big-name entertainment from rock
and roll to country music to comedy. Well-known entertainers like Debbie Reynolds, Wynona Judd, Mel Tillis,
Ricky Van Shelton, The Smothers Brothers, The Lettermen and Jeff Foxworthy are featured regularly on stages
throughout the Laughlin casino district, along with rock groups like Lynyrd Skynyrd, Styx, Eddie Money and the
Doobie Brothers. Variety shows, comedy showcases and talent shows featuring local residents are found in
cabarets, nightclubs and amphitheaters throughout the year. Check with individual casino properties for further

Bullhead City is an incorporated city located within Mohave County. The city provides a multitude of services,
from public works, building and maintaining roads, roadway medians, sidewalks and other infrastructure, to
planning and zoning, building permits and inspections, municipal courts and a well-staffed police department.
The city relies on a two percent sales tax for the majority of its income, and there is no city property tax. The
Parks & Recreation Department handles maintenance, operations and ongoing improvements to its parks and
recreation areas, which include two large riverfront parks, several ball fields, the community swimming pool and
other recreation-oriented opportunities. The City of Bullhead City is responsible for the ongoing sewer
construction project, currently in the final phase of replacing all on-site septic tanks in the area with cleaner, more

Fort Mohave and Mohave Valley, to the south of Bullhead City, are unincorporated areas within Mohave County.
The majority of governmental services for these areas, including planning and zoning, building permits, police
protection and court system, are provided through the county seat in Kingman, Arizona, or at satellite offices
throughout the county. The area’s fire departments are separate governmental agencies with their own taxing
authority to fund fire and medical emergency services.
On the state level, the Arizona Department of Public Safety provides law enforcement services on state and
federal highways. The Department of Economic Security (DES) and Adult and Child Protective Services in
Bullhead City provide postings of employment opportunities, unemployment insurance claim service and legal

Across the Colorado River from Bullhead City is Laughlin, Nevada, an unincorporated township governed by the
Clark County, Nevada Board of Commissioners through the locally-elected Laughlin Town Advisory Board.
Clark County provides police and fire emergency services, a justice court and special regional improvement

The friendliness and attention to customer service you expect to find in a small town still exists and it’s right here
in Bullhead City. The growth in the area over the past few years has brought an abundance of business
opportunities to residents in the city. These opportunities have added to the job base and delivered retail shopping
opportunities that previously required a road trip of at least 200 miles round-trip.
In 2005, the growth of the population in the region reached an estimated 72,000 within a 20-mile radius of
Bullhead City. The estimated six million visitors to the region each year continue to spur growth in the retail and
service industries and infuse cash into the area economy. Pro-business governmental agencies, enterprise zones
and no corporate franchise or business inventory tax help provide the proper climate for business to grow.
Bullhead Regional Economic Development Authority
The Bullhead Regional Economic Development Authority (EDA) is a private, non-profit organization working
with the city of Bullhead City to direct and implement the economic development activities of our city. It is
governed by a 25-member board representing many different economic sectors of the community, with the daily
operations under the guidance of a President/CEO and support staff.
The prime objective of the EDA is to attract new businesses to the area and assist with the retention and
expansion of existing businesses. This is accomplished by ensuring that all of the incentives offered by the state,
county and city are made available to all who qualify. Additionally, the organization works closely with the
Arizona Department of Commerce, a variety of site selection consultants and other organizations and individuals
in insuring the Bullhead Region and all it has to offer are offered to all new businesses searching for a new
location. We also work closely with the City, assisting new and existing businesses through the Planning, Zoning
and permitting processes, if requested.
Our long-term goals are to increase employment opportunities, population and tax base, to strategically position
communities and businesses to better compete in the global economy and to facilitate the creation of high-paying
jobs for our workforce.
The EDA will package SBA 7(a) and SBA 504 loans for clients who qualify (and request that service), as well as
assist with the development of business and marketing plans for any entity in the region.

Western Arizona Regional Medical Center–Bullhead City
The opening of a hospital in Bullhead City came from a vision set forth by a group of community leaders known
as the Colorado River Valley Community Hospital Association back in the early 1980s. By January 23, 1984,
their vision materialized into the 36-bed Bullhead Community Hospital that opened to meet the growing
healthcare needs of the residents of the area. It did not take long for the hospital to double its size in 1988, and it
was again expanded a decade later to 98 beds when it also took on a new name: Western Arizona Regional
Medical Center (WARMC). Today, 25 years later, the 139-bed hospital continues to grow, change, add
technology and prepare for the future.One of the greatest assets of any business is the people working there. The
hospital’s team of employees, physicians and volunteers focus on caring for the people in our river communities
every day. WARMC has more than 700 employees, a medical staff of 100 physicians and a volunteer force of
over 110 individuals who dedicate thousands of hours to helping patients. WARMC is the largest employer in
Bullhead City/Mohave Valley, with an economic impact of more than $60 million annually. Millions of dollars
have been spent on technology and expansion projects that are critical to meeting the demands of a growing area.
Improving the quality of life in the region is a commitment WARMC embraces. Its employees, physicians and

Valley View Medical Center–Fort Mohave
Valley View Medical Center is the tri-state area’s fastest-growing hospital. It is a full-service, state-of-the-art
medical campus with an around-the-clock emergency department, including an on-site air ambulance helicopter.
The affiliated medical staff includes many specialists.
Each of Valley View’s 66 patient beds is in a private room equipped with cable television, including a special
channel with patient information and tips.
Most major private and public insurance programs are accepted. No one is ever turned away based on ability to
pay.
Valley View has six surgical units and a 12-bed outpatient care unit. A 12-bed critical care unit provides a wide
range of life-supporting therapies for critically ill patients. It is adjacent to a new high-tech cardiac care surgical
unit.
Spacious labor and delivery suites are more like hotel rooms than hospital rooms. Each room features a folddown bed so that a family member can comfortably spend the night.
The inpatient and outpatient radiology and imaging center has 4D ultrasound, 16-slice CT-Scan, 1.5 Tesla MRI
and nuclear medicine programs that are the envy of big-city hospitals. The 10-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit
provides a full range of physical, occupational and speech therapy services, including a whirlpool and outdoor
therapy courtyard. The outpatient rehab complex adjacent to the hospital even includes a fitness pool for aquatic
therapy.
Valley View is an active participant in many tri-state area community activities. The hospital is just south of
Bullhead City and is a short distance from Laughlin and Needles. It is approximately two miles from the point
where Arizona, California and Nevada come together. The hospital is located at 5330 S. Highway 95 in Fort
Mohave.
