Instructions for updating firmware Before you begin, make sure: Your iOS/Android device is connected to your Wi-Fi network. The wireless speaker of which you want to upgrade the firmware is connected to the same Wi-Fi network. Your wireless speaker can be found via the AirStudio App. The Wi-Fi network is working properly and has Internet access. 1. Launch AirStudio / Airstudio+ App. 2. Tap Services (this step is not needed in Airstudio+ App). 3. Tap the device of which you would like to upgrade the firmware. 4. Tap Settings (Airstudio ) / Internet radio and then Settings (Airstudio+ with older FW-versions) / Device settings (for unit with Device FW > 5.63S) 5. Tap Firmware Upgrade, then tab “Check Online”. 6. If there is a new firmware, you can select OK to confirm to upgrade 7. The wireless speaker will start downloading the firmware and then proceed with firmware upgrade: 8. After firmware upgrade is completed, the speaker will restart and connect to the previously connected network automatically. Note: Firmware upgrade process may take up to ten minutes. Do not turn off the speaker power nor disconnect it from network during firmware upgrade. In case the unit shows a permanent RED power indicator after the upgrade (or in earlier SW-versions amber/red or amber/green permanent blinking), then follow the instructions given at this link (recover the unit from a corrupted firmware).
