It is experience and know-how in manufacturing files and rasps for more
than a century that motivates vallorbe swiss® to keep creating innovative
tools. It is in that spirit that the Swiss manufacturer introduces the
, a new type of farrier rasp with a revolutionary finish side that
offers three distinct benefits :
• Will remove up to twice as much hoof as a « traditional » rasp
• The finish surface will be perfectly clean and smooth
•Minimum cutting energy is needed in comparison to a « traditional »
rasp.
The
rasp is the first example of the vallorbe swiss® technological
inspiration and demonstrates the company’s commitment to expanding
its range. The goal is to make farriers’ lives easier and their performance
yet more effective.

range for farriery, especially in facilitating the trimming on big hooves.
With its larger width (58 mm), the new

THE QUALITY LABEL
Manufactured of high carbon steel, farriers have reported that the vallorbe
swiss® rasps last up to three times as long as their competitors.
Throughout the manufacturing process, the rasps are subjected to a
number of checks: teeth geometry, cutting height, bite, hardness etc. The
vallorbe swiss® Quality Control system ensures that the quality of all our
products remains consistent.
The V-Sharp technology allows in the manufacturing process to
put an excellent finishing touch on the rasps. The process increases
aggressiveness and prevents any slippage no matter how hard the hoof
may be.
