Information from the Frankfurt Police Department and the Fire Department of the City of Frankfurt am Main Following the discovery of a third unexploded aerial bomb during building work in Franklinstrasse in Bockenheim on Wednesday, 22 May, 2013, disposal is planned for Monday, 27 May, 2013 in the course of the afternoon. For this purpose, a partial evacuation is necessary. Overleaf you will find a map showing a red and a blue zone. RED ZONE: All residents of the red zone must leave their homes and the general area by Monday, 27 May, 2013, 3 pm. A shelter has been set up for residents in Saal Europa in the Messehalle 4. Transport will be provided with busses leaving two stops (Voltastrasse/An der Damm and Am Römerhof/Leonardo-da-Vinci-Alle) from 2 pm. From 3 p.m. onwards, the streets in the red area will be completely closed. BLUE ZONE: Residents of the blue zone may remain in their homes. Please keep windows and doors closed. Nobody may be out on the streets. The all-clear will be announced on the radio and on the websites listed below.
